Blue Vinyl insert 1 9/16" wide - '82 Excella Motorhome

Seeking a source for blue vinyl insert, 1 1/16" wide for '82 Excella 28' Motorhome. It extends from front wheel cutout, both sides to center of back wall, about 1' from bottom... See pictures attached.

Any leads appreciated...

When I bought my AS in '09, the dealer ordered the plastic inserts from Airstream in OH. The price I thought at the time was fair.

I believe they still display this insert as available in their AS Store.

Try Oasis RV in Tucson AZ http://www.oasisrv.com/ they installed new blue inserts on my 1976 Sovereign when they applied new clear coat a couple of years ago. They still have a lot of old parts and supplies for the older Airstream's. Nice folks.

You can also order the available parts through airstreamsupply.com. I need to replace all of mine as well. I am wondering if it would be any easier and look any better to hand paint them instead?

You could do anything you want, obviously but by painting the molding you are not keeping it original. I feel that even at the cost of replacement of the original blue plastic holds its originality!
