Oak Cabinet Door Retainer Strips

I have a 1987 345 motorhome with oak cabinets built with an outer frame and a raised panel insert. The insert panels are secured by a brown plastic strip on all four sides of the panels which slip into groves on the frames and then secured with brads. I have had the plastic strips fail on one door and I tried to glue the insert in which worked but is not beautiful. The strips have now failed on another door. I would like to find a source for the extruded plastic strips which I assume are a standard product for some application. I doubt that Airstream had an expensive extrusion die made just for their application.

RE: Retainer Strips

According to Airstream, the retainer strips are no longer available.
I found some screen door window retaining clips and some #6 X .500" screws at Lowes that are doing the job.

You might try Outwater Plastics Industries.
They are a great source for all types of fittings that would work for an Airstreams interior.
