they work.......

just made some mild repairs to the wiring after (some parts swiping idiot) cut them out. this thing has set for 15 years and poeple seemed to take a few things that they needed. BUT the good news is all of my lights work, I need a dome for one and a whole fixture in the front.

Good job Rich! That must have been a headache trying to figure out everything and its usage. Keep your eyes open, you'll come across those missing fixtures.

The consensus seems to be to get a replacement, with an electronic version, if whatever is wrong with the Univolt is more than a couple of dollars to repair. The newer units have a cleaner waveform and tend not to cook the batteries in your trailer.
I only repaired mine because it cost $.63 to fix, if it had been more I would have replaced it.
