Hi

What you need depends a *lot* on what you will be doing. A 200W (or less) solar setup takes significant effort to run off of for extended periods of time. With care, you *can* run without solar for a week. Many people struggle to run a day or two simply off batteries. The typical system most people seem to go with for "full power" is up in the 400 to 600W range.

so you are using the Zamp 120w and i works fine? I was leaning towards the 160w but would be fine not spending the extra $ and getting the 120w.

Yep the 120 has met expectations, glad we finally got it.
With the Classic batteries hidden behind two compartment doors, charging thru the umbilical cord works very well for us. 👍

I see the 120w has been upgraded to 140w seems to be the same size and weight.
120 is rated at 6.84a, 140 at 6.7 don't know why the lower spec.
