Range Ignitor

On my 2013 23FB, the range ignitor failed, got a warranty replacement, installed it, checked all wire connections...and it doesn't work. Made sure the gas was flowing by lighting the burners with a lighter. Anyone experienced failed ignitors?

Not failed, but seldom do we get ignition on the first go, particularly when stove has not been used for several hours. Sometimes it will take 3-4+ tries. We've considered getting a standalone sparker.

Yes, same issue in our 2011 FC23FB - the igniter just never worked well. I simply keep a butane bbq lighter by the stove.

And my 2014 FC 20' has a range which the sparker works very well, on every burner, every time, so they can work just fine. Someone should be able to figure out the issue I would think.

Ours works but sometimes it takes several bumps to light. Sometimes I use a lighter stick. I haven't taken a close look but was wondering if there is some adjustment that might make them work better. Maybe Bob can give us some insight since he replaced his. So Bob, when you put your new one in did you find any sort of adjustable parts ???

Thanks all, see ya'll on the road sometime.

Range Ignitor

When I replaced it, which was today, 11/1/14, I look for a way to adjust it when it wasn't working. Nothing there. It's a very simple looking little thing.

Thanx Bob for settling that issue. I shall look no farther.
