How can I test my univolt with a digital multimeter. Also , I have put in a new 12v battery and nothing works-where to look. Ps this is a restore project

Track your battery line into the univolt and make sure the power is going in. Then find where the wires go out of the univolt and test them to see if power is going out. If no power going out there should be a fuse in the univolt. Mine is a different brand and I had blown the circuit that the line coming out was on, and switched it to another line out fuse..
