Newbie needing advice

I am Tucson AZ and looking to enter the Airstream Society with a purchase of a 2000 Limited that resides in Austin TX. As this is a bit uncomfortable jumping in on faith alone - any advice as to how to proceed or is there someone in Austin who could put a set of eyes on what I'm buying. I did find a RV Mobile technician in the Austin area that will give an inspection (basically does everything work and will it make it AZ). Just wanted some assurance and/or advice as to the next logical step as I do not want my first Airstream experience to be a negative one.

Their are inspectors on this forum, some voluntary some for hire. I suggest you post specifically for this rather than just looking for advise. Many out of state deals are done so it's not out of the norm to have that AS looked over, pictures taken independently and get an independent opinion.
