Just bought a 1978 31 Soverign, have not picked it up yet. I am interested in finding the total weight and also the ton weight. Temp. I will move it wil a 1999 F-250 super duty, only forseeable problem is a manuel tranny. Cloned

Hi, and welcome to the forums. Empty weight for your Sovereign is 4850, with a 2000 pound capacity, so 6850 pounds maximum. Well within the towing capacity of your F250.
