Followed these forums and watched the ads for 6 months before we found our dream. Now a proud owner of '08 25' Safari. 1st thing on the list is to build a carport.
Looking forward to our first over nighter in a couple of weeks. This will be our first RV trailer just for us. We pulled goose neck horse trailer w/living qrts and before that a PU camper and horse trailer. We intend to leave the horses behind an see the country. We really look forward to joining this community.
By the way when we decided that this is what we were going to do I started looking for AS on the road. Sad to say it looks lonely out there have yet to see on on the road since Sept.
Congratulations! Have fun on your journey and post some pics! You can drive a long time before you seen an Airstream! That's why we get so excited when we see one! Check out Airstream sightings.

Welcome to the Forum. Looking for 6 months is a good idea. It allows you to figure out what you want and then to go out there and find it. Hopefully with warm weather coming, you will see a lot more Airstreams on the road.
