New Member Travelux

Hello everyone,
I came across your site looking for information on the Travelux trailer. I just purchased a 21' Travelux , that I plan to completely redo. I think its a 1978 because the information paper in the closet has this number at the bottom right of the page, "_ _ 7815". So, I thought it might be a 1978 and the 15th one made that year.

Not sure what I'm into yet, I have to wait till spring to get it out of its present location, of which it has sat for some 20 years. The frame and shell appear clean and solid, but there is a couple small areas inside that show evidence of being wet. One is a in a seat storage compartment to the right of the entrance door (dry rot and a rodents home at some point). So I'm not sure if the floor is rotted from moisture getting in or from the animal! There was one other spot that had very small water makers in the floor but it solid to the touch.

I'll read and learn what I can from here and post some photo's in the spring when I get it home.

Regards to all,
Shawn

Thanks eljay.

Kathy, what one is it you have? There isn't much out there about this things.

Tbird, I'm going to get the wheels off it in three weeks. So when its time to bring it home I've got new rubber for it. I'll get some photos of it then and post them.
