I moved from Trona to Sandy Eggo 30 years ago, and don't miss anything except peameal bacon. We have '72 23' Safari and just got a '76 24' Argosy moho on Friday, Flying to Phoenix Thursday to bring it back. I am really excited about the possibilites too. Good luck.eh !

Drove home to sandy eggo from Scottsdale AZ yesterday, 425 miles, 7.5 hours 9 mpg, just need to fix the cab air. Looks like they had a fire in the stove and used an extinguisher, so a stove is on the list.Tires, brakes, interior all good 154 hours on the generator. univolt battery pretty dead, but may come up. Gas tank fills SOOOOO SLOW, nozzle shuts off evrey 1/4 gallon.Wife spenr yesterday evening and today 'stocking'. It's true, a good woman can add 1000 pounds to the weight of a RV.

Me too.

I, too, have a 28', '77 Argosy MH and have dealt with many of the issues that may come up for you. I, like all the rest, am happy to help with my 2 cents. Feel free to contact me thru email. Good luck and enjoy the journey.

Forget the univolt and just replace it with a good 3-stage converter. You can get a quality unit for around $175 or so if you shop around. One of the best upgrades you can do for your motorhome. You won't have to worry about your batteries after installing one.

Welcome, as owner of an official AS LY MH, I find it hard to see the difference except for your nice wraparound window at the rear. Airodynamic slope and gas mileage is about the same. My chassis is by Chevy. Thor labeled mine LY 30 but it measures 31. You probably have more aluminum than mine as only the exterior below the frame floor is aluminum rest is FG.
