Is that a Texas vintage auto license plate or just a novelty one? I'm interested in getting one for our Argosy, "Pearl". Thx,

We just purchased a 1973 Argosy and have so many questions. Mainly what were we thinking? Do you know where I can find out about original colors. Ours has been painted hand painted silver and definitely needs a paint job.

Thanks! It is in above average shape. A few dents on the bow and roof. But over all not bad for being 36. I take it you saw the pics of the work I've done. Every time I see a photo of your rig, I'M REALLY IMPRESSED.

Not too sure what you mean about a "D" model? But thanks we have done quite alot of work on him. And still have some more to come. Can't wait until we are done with the major part of the reno.

Hi Alwhisman - Thanks again for the welcome. I'm intrigued by your painted Airstream and would love to view pics of it. I can't seem to find a way to view any pics you may have posted. I find this sites platform to be a little scattered and challanging to navigate. Any help to view your photos would be sweet. Cheers!

Just paged through your photos. Awesome. What kind of paint is used on aluminum? Has the paint job held up?

Were these taken at Lake Livingston State Park in Texas? I ask because my wife and I camped there last month in our AS and the site area looks very familure. Love you paint job. You did a fantastic job.

Thank you. We've been at it off and on for a couple of years. Haven't done much to the outside yet, but the interior is finished. Paint is in the future. How did you do yours? The color is unusual, but looks great with your truck.

Fairfield hasn't really changed much, a few more houses, etc., is all...Still lots of activity at March AFB...highway 12 going across the Delta is still a death trap for passing cars and trucks, however, Cal-Trans have placed some of those concrete barriers down the middle of the road to prevent passing in some stretches...

We're heading up into the Sierras next week for a five day camping trip with our kids and their families...summer's hot weather is upon us...

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.

Just under 2400 miles and all is well. I had been wondering about my axles, but they did well. Northern Louisiana has some pretty rough roads, but nothing flying around or out of cabinets. And best of all, no broken dishes.

I had checked, and my axles sit at 0 degrees, but when I jack it up, they rotate down to 15 degrees. She still looks like a lowrider to me. Guess if I have to wonder about it, I'll just add axles replacement to the list, cant hurt.
