Looking for fellow South Texans w/Airstreams
Hi there, I am a new member and I am located in San Antonio, TX and I just bought my first Airstream (fixer-upper). It's a 1969 Land Yacht Safari 23'.
I am trying to figure out a way to locate other members in my area by zip code or cities. I can't seem to figure out how to do that on this site but, I'm sure there's a way and I'm just not finding it. Could someone point me in the right direction?
Thank you.

Hi Drifter
Welcome to the forums! You will find a wealth of information here as you begin your restoration journey. I don't know how to do the search as you presented, but my wife and I are located in San Antonio(Adkins) as well. Would be glad to offer any insight as you move forward.

I have no idea how to find others by zipcode, but I'm in Boerne. We recently bought a 73 Sovereign.

I don't think the member search gives you a ZIP code option, but in the advanced search you can search on state and then order by last visit... Texas is a big state. We have about 500 members who have been on the site within the last 30 days, so it will take a little while to sort through that list to find towns around SA, but it's not an insurmountable task. And, as you've seen, locals who see "South Texas" will likely chime in on this thread. Welcome to the Forums!

Hi! I'm from San Antonio, currently parking in Round Rock until December. I'm down in SA on Thursdays and Fridays, but I doubt I'm any help (new to this too). Anyway, food is always a nice way to say hello!

My wife and I are in San Antonio. Will be glad to chat, although we purchased new, and did not do a restore.

Although I am not a "restorer", I do live close to San Antonio, and have owned Airstreams for many years, and also belong to the Texas Alamo Unit of the WBCCI. Most of our members live in the area, and we all love to chat about our Airstreams and our travels with them.
It's a shame I just now saw this thread as we had a club dinner just last night and many of us were there eating, and chatting about our Airstreams. You would be more than welcome to join us any time in the future.
