It's going to FINALLY happen, I'll officially be an Airstream Owner!

Hello to the AS Forum,
After more than a few ventures of looking at different Airstream motorhomes over the past few years, next Sunday, August 28, 2011, I'll officially be the proud owner of a 1989 345LE Airstream Motorhome. The 'old' girl will be referred to as my 'Mobile Retirement Villa'. Yes, retirement is still a bit over 9 years away at this point, but we all need something to look forward to, right? Will post pix of motorhome when she's sitting in my driveway.
Thanks for a great source of information.

This is a photo I took the day I went to 'look' at the Airstream I'm purchasing. Some of the edges are a tad rough, but overall, a great find!

The blue graphics was a rare option. Great find. It's great example of what America used to build. I hope you have as much fun with yours as I have with mine.

ohhhh, don't tell me that about the blue graphics. I had begun to think I was going to polish it all the way, top to bottom. Well, maybe I'll leave the blue, and polish everywhere there's aluminum clearcoat, mmmm, less to polish???
