Hello from OH-IO

Hello to all,

Just found this marvelous fourm yesterday. Have been an Airstream owner since 1981. We have a 31 foot Land Yacht and have some repair issues so i am so thankful for this Airstream forum, it will be a blessing and a great help.

Welcome Hal, we're glad you're here. Hopefully you can find all the info you need here for your repairs. What kind of issues are you having?

Welcome Hal from another buckeye. There are quite a few of us on the forums. Just drove through Springfield the other day.

After arriving at camp ground found out my tongue jack, water pump, radio would not function - also my refrigerator would not cool. The freezer was some what
cold. Had to buy large bag of ice for the food.
I felt like leaving the next morning, but took the top off of the jack and manully lowered the leg down. The best part of our experience was the weather was great.
Thanks for caring,
Hal

Welcome Hal,

Repairs are part of trailer ownership and when failures occur in multiples it can be challenging and at times overwhelming. Hang in there and keep us posted.

Good luck,

Kevin

Thanks Kevin,
I have come to know that experience is what you get when you do not do it right the first time.
Blessings,
Hal

Welcome!

Outside of the shiny part between the hitch and the bumper, I haven't had any problems at all with my 1976 Airstream luxury travel trailer.

Eastern South Dakota is very pretty with hills, rivers, and trees.

Hello

Hi Hal,
We look forward to camping and visiting with you. We are just sw of Cleveland. Ohio has a great group of Airstreamers and a pretty active group.
You may want to keep track of some of the OH threads that pop up.
We also are a part of TAC! And NOVA..the newest WBCCI unit. We are planning lots of stuff! We just returned from a NOVA rally at Wright-Patterson AFB Museum.
Larry and I offer courtesy parking. If you get up to our neck of the woods be sure to stop in for a visit!

I have found that my jack works when hooked to a 12v battery at the jack post. the same with water pump when hooked directly to battery.
