Congratulations!!! I'd suggest an appropriate cake for the big day.

Congrats on the sacred journey! Oh, congrats on the engagement thingy too.

My lovely Bride and i have a decent start... 37.5 years and counting the AS is only a part of our journey ...

Wish you all the best! Let the fun begin...

Now, you could use AS as "brides Room" for getting dressed, turn groom over to best man..so you don't have to worry !

Write your own vows "I promise to polish, faithfully, till Burning Man.", or something a bit less serious?

Ok, seriously... The Brides Room is a good idea...based upon my experience of performing dozens of weddings....have you seen what they bring the poor ladies to the ceremony in???? Usually a limo.... Really? An AS is classy and I have never seen it done....yet. Maybe a limo TOWING an AS? Hmmmm

You could have real flamingos as members of the wedding party. They should already be pink and match the tuxes.

Give people appropriate items to decorate AS without damage of course.

Give people flamingo food pellets to throw instead of rice. Can feed flamingos too.

Serve pink champagne and pink colored foods at reception.

Gift everyone AS symbol, pen, lapel pin, etc, with your wedding info engraved.

Go to one of the advertising folks who print up things, print up shot or wine glasses, etc, with info about your wedding such as a line of your vows......"for better or worse, excluding corrosion.."

Hand out the one-use cameras for folks to take candid shots then give cameras back to you after reception...

Sponsor a marriage rally where several other AS join to "tie the knot", even RENEW vows (for old folks like us who still don't know any better)...

Wedding gifts can be GIFT COUPONS to Camping World or Inland RV or...favorite you specify..

Couldn't help but notice the awning in your picture. Is that the way you normally connect it with the cross support bars? I thought the cross bar attached to the top where the roller mechanism is. (Basically horizontal when extended. The lower pin is for when it is retracted / stowed (where you had it in the picture). Someone correct me. Sorry for going off subject.

That is exactly right. In fact, this was our first "airstream date" and neither one of us had been "glamping" in it before.

We have lots to learn. I just found out after the tow package and RV maintenance nobody mentioned us having to have a brake Controller! Yikes!

Congrats!!

My wife and I will be helping our niece plan her wedding. Our AS will be a big part of the decorations. We will also be photographing it (my wife and I are wedding photographers )

Heading west in feb.. Snow?

So we are planning a feb wedding and will be heading west from Texas out to Santa Fe area then off to alumna fiesta for honeymoon in arizona.

We are concerned about road conditions and taking airstream on snowy roads.

Any recommendations would be helpful

Yours Maui airstream looks amazing. I don't think we will be able to honeymoon there but sure hope to make it out there sometime soon!
