Aluminum never was known for its bullet stopping characteristics. Maybe we should test this theory on a SOB first.Lets say 8-900 times.

Well Gunner what happened to your weasel avatar? You gunning for anyone in particular or just making general pot shots? Your other avatar was so much more appropo.
We have a fly gun. You release the trigger and the disk goes out and annilliates 'em! Makes me feel real good, how'd you know that? You watching me? Almost like a bug on the wall.

Been tryin to animate the thing but it won't work rite. Not a weasel, chipmonk.
Had one of them fly guns a while back. It was a Hoot!
Not gunnin for anyone, just like to inject a little humor.
Do you folks do any reloadin? Thinkin of building a bench in Moho. Like to test loads for bench rest shootin. That way could run back an try new load.
When I was little I heard about this thing called the "Decline of civilization" and I decided that it was something I would like to become involved with.

Cute, but that animal is a black tailed prairie dog (Cynomys ludovicianus), not a chipmunk. And a .308, even with a 110gr bullet, would vaporize the poor little critter.

110 grain Sierra Hollow Point, 53.1 grains Ball C2 powder. Don't intend to use it on that little critter though. Just a little target practice working up loads for a new rifle. Hope to do a little varmit shooting this Summer. Also working up some loads for an elk huntin trip later this year.
Ever been to the Antelope Hunt Rally in Wyoming? Check it out.

Hunting and Fishing
We use the Airstream for 3 things now that the kids are growing out.
Hunting, fishing and quality time with the misses.
The latest purchase is a toy safe to keep the toys out of the wrong hands.
Have not figured out where to put it.
Would like the safe to be invisible but accessible.
Have deer, moose, turkeys in my yard.
Remember, you got to kill it before you can grill it.

Bought the gun safe few years back. Too many little ones round to have toys in open. Now if I could member the combi.
Haven't seen moose in a long while, but see the rest in my woods most days. Funny thing is don't want to shoot them at home. Rather watch em. Don't even shoot here. Drive to range away from home stead. Funny. I always thought I would shoot off back porch. Could here in the woods, but don't want to disturb my critters.

Jack Russell Deer Fence
Gunner,
We had a herd of deer clean out the garden just before harvest. My wife cried. She spent lots of time and money to help feed us. Now we have Waldo.
They still come back. A local organic farmer calls them rats. I love deer: sausage, chops and steaks. They are like goats.
I dream about taking the Airstream on a trip around America, fishing and hunting.

Well, they busted me just as I was answering you. I allow anyone who wants to bow hunt on my land to do so. Just give me some meat. Keeps the herd down. I used to hunt with sticks, but too old now. Like to smell gunpowder in the morning.
Lived in Virginia when I was stationed in D.C. Liked to kill woodchucks for horse and dairy farmers. Little woman came up to me one day and said, "how can you kill those dear furry little creatures"? See, she kept her horsey there. I said I would go home and when her horsey stepped in a hole and broke it's leg, she should call me and I would shoot her horsey. Also asked if she liked chicken and if she thought it died of old age or cancer. She never bothered me again.

Airstream shooting
Here in Tennessee, we use our Airstream every year for deer hunting. Makes for a comfortable camp. Don't need any hook ups.

We use it a lot here in Minesooota for fishing. Fact is, in May I will be on Lake Osakis looking for the elusive Walleye! Tow my boat behind and get someone to back it into the lake for me (kinda hard to do with the Moho, can't see it in the mirrors you see), and then have fish frys in the evening.
Gets kinda cold here in deer season. Sometimes 10 or 12 below zero. (Last couple years were okay though). Moho isn't warm enough for that.
Also take it to range for a day of burning powder.
Also Blue Grass and Gospel Music Festivals.
Heck, it's good to go anywhere.

Load Up Hunters!
I haven't had my Airstream long enough to get it to the ranch yet, but its only a matter of time. I do safari hunting at the ranch(Texas style) and I'd bet I'd really be able to sneak up to those deer in the Land Yacht--Ha! Ha! If there's any hunters out there who would like to camp, hunt and shoot, I know a great place!

Hunting and shooting and fishing?
What else would you have an AS for?
I keep mine up at the lake. It never moves except to mow around/under it.
The closet has more rods and reels and in hunting season guns, than clothing.
I have an old S&W .38 special that I keep hidden in it. You never know when you might be attacked by those killer chipmunks.

Getting mine ready for the fishing season now. I love it because if the fish aren't biting on one lake, I just move to another. We like to visit Mille Lacs once or twice a year.
I am tunin a new varmit rifle right now and hope to go to South Dakota for a little varmit huntin this summer.
Bein retired and able to go anytime I want is GREAT!!!

Sports,
A buddy just coming back from AZ called from S Dakota.
He saw bunnies, pheasants, pronghorn and when the terrain changed whitetails.
With 3 teenagers almost to college and a wife in college I dream but hunt and fish close to home.
Enjoy.
