This is Ande Rushing...Kipziprip. Our slider number is #96. Please add my wife "Lynn" as a member. Also she sent you a message a day or so ago about chances of getting a site with electricity for the next slider get together. If you hear of one please advise. If one does not come available by next week we will just sign up and bring a generator.
Thanks,
ande

Unless I am looking at the wrong place, I show no new private messages. I will be out for a few days but Lynn will be available is you need to give her instructions or updated info about a site becoming available.
Thanks for all of your help. I look forward to meeting you guys.

Ande,
On my PC the PM notification is at the top right of the portal page under
Welcome, Your screen name here
Private Messages: Number
We've got a space, need to see if it works for you.
Also not sure if you might have PM's turned off in your settings?

Hello, I secured a site, but it is in another area from the group and would like to “upgrade”. Is there a list I can add my name to for sites becoming available? Thanks Carolyn Tschupp

Carolyn,
Two ideas, check for openings via Reserve America for possible cancellations and post your request on the Alumaslider II thread.
http://www.airforums.com/forums/f288...-a-188183.html
Also, I hope your site is not in Loop A that loop is for tents, popups and maybe a single axle rig. I detailed that in post 1 of Alumslider II.
Loop C does not have electricity and water is a site or two away but those are also nice sites.
Gary

Stone Mountain Map
Just following up to Gary's post I've included a map of the campsites for reference. This doesn't give you a reference for distance. It's a very easy stroll to see and visit any of the sites in Loops B or C...so although you might not be side by side it's a pretty short walk to visit.
Glad to have you with us!

Lthrncktrvlr,
Welcome aboard! Very neat Slide you've got there with a lounge!
Should be a lot of fun to get out on some adventures!
Gary will come Sliding along any moment and smack that ole hickory stick of his with a Slider number for you.
All the best!

Lthrnecktrvlr,
I just checked the forum whilst I was and still am hard at it trying to stay out of the afternoon heat and here you are.
Are you new to "RV'ing" or just to the magnificent 34' Airstream Slide Out? Either way got a question, we MIGHT have an answer, suggestion, been there done that or just an armchair SWAG. You get to figure that out.
USMC? An assumption off of the name.
Well, you found the Slide Out Society, one rule, own an Airstream Slide Out and say here I am.
I'd say you passed and we always like to see a pic of the rig. And now for the official numbering.
Lthrnecktrvlr, I've checked the chart kept by our Data Officer Tom and here comes the drum roll. You are S/OS#109
And if your fall as in THIS Oct schedule has some flexibility here is Alumaslider II http://www.airforums.com/forums/f288...-a-188183.html
Welcome and happy trails and camping to you.
Gary
And I just spotted that Tom STREMN slid in ahead of me. Tom I was chatting with Capt Hank out of CHS SC.

Slide-Out Society - Updated Member List
Welcome Lthrncktrvlr and farewell Air-Texas! We're good with the number swap, after all it's really a trailer swap too...and there's past practice. We've done this before with another S/OS member.
It's been warm for us here in the Northeast...we're not used to the high 80's & 90's we've seen this summer. Beautiful beach weather though.
I've updated our member list to reflect the latest updates. Getting closer to AlumaSlider!
All the best!

Hi Paul & Rhonda - Welcome to our little band of SLiders...we're happy that you found us! Welcome to the forum also!
Lot's of advice available, just gotta ask the questions!
Gary S/OS #001 should be SLiding on in at any moment to do his official thing and get you an Official S/OS #...sometimes we may have to nudge him awake just a little. LoL
Seriously though, happy that you're here with us! Is this a new unit to you? New campers, veterans?
All the best!

Oh boy, here we grow again!
Paul & Rhonda,
Welcome from hot and muggy SC the unofficial HQ of the S/OS.
Yes STREMN I've been up for a good while and just came in from a few more deck boards getting R&R on the deck.
Now, back to the order of the morning Paul & Rhonda it's official your application passed review and so did the check so please accept S/OS#109 as your official membership number.
Like STREMN stated, new or veteran AS'r if you have questions about the slide post em and you have a chance of an answer or dumb looks and sympathy.
And if your schedule is flexible we have Alumaslider II coming up check for openings via Reserve America for possible cancellations.
http://www.airforums.com/forums/f288...-a-188183.html
Welcome to the S/OS
Gary

Slide-Out Society - Updated Member List
It's official now...congratulations Paul & Rhonda S/OS #109!
Seems like we just did this, but gotta keep up with things. I've updated our member list to add y'all to the group. Don't want Gary not knowing what our numbers are.
All the best!

Welcome Paul and Rhonda. We traded up from a 2001 Safari 25 to our 2002 Classic 30 Slideout. We love the added space of the slide! At almost every rally we have to give tours.
