What's a fair price for used parts?

I have the oportunity to buy some parts before they get recycled or are taken to the dump. I'd like to offer a fair price but not sure how to value them.

A couple of exterior rear dome segments. A bed room window. A couple of curved glass for the front corners. some inetrior light fixtures.

Some of these items I don't even need but I'd like to have them as spares because you just never know.

Suggestions?

Hummm. Take a look into our classifieds, maybe find some similar parts with prices. Check e-bay and craig's list for same.

One dollar more than the other guy is offering...

Seriously...check out Table "C" on this Price vs Condition website. It shows the expected cost for a lot of common repairs/parts...of course, making a bundle deal will probably help you do better than these. Good luck!

Back in the good old days, a used part usually fetched half what a new one did, at least from a salvage yard. As in everything else, common sense should prevail.

Thanks,
Richard & Della

Maybe a little more help: I go to classfieds and found an item but when clicking on "contact this seller" I get "You do not have permission for this action" and yes I am logged in. Any clues??

Thanks again, in advance,
Richard

Did you log in to the classifieds, or just the forum? They are separate.

Thanks. I thought that might be the case, but could not find any log in area. I'll look again.
