Reasonable price for a 1972 Airstream Land Yacht

I have an opportunity to purchase a 1972 30' Land Yacht. The body has damage to it, the awning will need replacing, but the floors have been replaced with a fine wood surface and the cabinets are teak. It has a full size refrigerator and a full size porcelain toilet. Other than that, it is in decent to good shape. The asking price is $9500...any suggestions what is a fair and reasonable offer?
Thank you!
Joyce

Whats the condition of the axles?

From what you describe, that price is a couple of thousand too high, if not more.

If it has a household type reefer, that is a big negative.

The body damage, can be very expensive to have repaired.

As an example, one quarter panel, or one segment replacement will run $!000.00 to $1200.00, each.

Side sheet replacement usually starts at $2000.00 or more, depending on the size of the trailer. In your case much more.

Also, Airstream never made a 1972 30 foot trailer. If it has tandem axles, it's will be a 25, 27, 29 or 31 feet long.

I'd have to agree with Andy. Unless the body damage is minimal and cosmetic, axles OK, and the interior very nice, it sounds overpriced. Post some pics of the thing, and you'll get more opinions.
