1969 Overlander double layout

We are looking at a 1969 Overlander. We have been looking at various trailers for quite some time. The guy is asking 12,500. I believe he found it "as is". Here are some things he has done to it: new tires, packed bearings, recovered gaucho, new carpet, stripped clear coat, cleaned and re-caulked windows, cleaned it up, is checking out lights. The floor is solid, air works appliances work. The things it needs are: heater, polishing, rock guard, curtains (there are none), 48 in.mattress, one plexi window replaced to glass, the door to the small cabinet in the living area is missing. There is a fair sized dent on top. The formica is cracked in several places. That bothers me. How hard/expensive is the formica to replace? I realize some of these things are purely cosmetic. Just wanted to know how much you think it might be? Is that a good price? I have seen one with everything there....much cheaper, but we were afraid of the floor and frame. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I think you're paying too much by half. This is a 4 or 5 thousand dollar trailer at best.

yes 5000 or so sounds about right considering the described condition. Look around some more they are out there.
