Weboost Interior Antenna

I have a Weboost in my truck that I move to the AS. I have different antennas in the AS. I have the one that’s supposed to be in the RV setup on the interior. But it puts out little signal. When I put my IPHONE right by the weboost I get 3 to 4 bars. When I move just a few feet a way it’s down to 1 or 2. That just doesn’t seem right.
1) Faulty part?
2) Normal?
3) Suggestions?

I have a call in to Wilson Amplifiers, but has anyone else had this happen?

Hi

No matter which antenna you have, the bars go way up as you get close to the antenna. They pretty much have to work this way or they go nuts with feedback. This antenna vs that antenna is a "inches" vs "a foot or two" kind of thing.
