SirusXM Hook up

Hello everyone. I just bought a 2016 23FB Flying Cloud and I want to connect a Sirus XM tuner kit to my Clarion M303 Sirus XM ready radio. My question is, where would be the best place to run the outside antenna wire into the Airstream. I really don't want to go through the skin. I camp about a dozen times a year so I'd like to run it out through the window and on to the top or side of the Airstream only while camping to get reception. I just can't decide the best path to take to get it outside. If anyone has done this please share with me how you installed your kit. Thank you

Hi

Once you get the antenna outside, most of them are magnetic mount. That is a no-go with an aluminum skinned trailer. Yes, I know, that really isn't a helpful piece of information

Feeding any cable through / past the screen on a window is a bit of a compromise. You will let bugs and and bend the screen a bit. If the bugs bother you, grab some duct tape. A bit of poking will show you where the screen frames flex the most.

The alternatives are to use the antenna(s) that are on top of the vehicle already or to feed an antenna in through either the cable or satellite TV inputs. Doing any of this involves some messing with the what wire goes where in the existing setup.

I was able to tuck the antenna cable inbetween the bathroom wall and ceiling till I got to the skylight where I used double sided tape to attach the little receiver. Works great. "]
