Rear camera question

The camera that came on my classic is ok but the view is reversed i.e. the left side of the screen shows the right lane and right side shows the passing lane. Am I missing something

No. Look at your settings. Believe you have to set mirror image, or something like that. Or you can call Voyager.

Our Furrion has an option in the menu to change the orientation.

It can easily reversed. If it’s a Voyager and if I remember correctly you simply have to press the powe button on the display for a few seconds and it will give you a mirror image.

Frugal Solution

My rear view camera is an inexpensive one, hard wired to a monitor mounted to my TV's rear view mirror. The camera is powered by the license plate light 12v.

I bought if from Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Despite what the ad says there are no illumination LEDs so it's on all the time, not just when backing up.
Wires run from behind my license plate, behind the rear storage compartment rubber molding, under the compartment, along the side of the bumper, then along the underside of the belly pan. There is a plug next to the seven pin trailer plug that connects to video cable under the TV that enters the TV under the rear carpet, and then runs up to the mirror behind the right windshield A-pillar trim.

Only draw back is that it's a very wide angle lens. Fine for close up work seeing what's right behind the trailer, but not so good for seeing what might be driving 100' behind me.

Anyone got a recommendation for a similar camera that's NOT wide angle?

Hold down the power button for 5 seconds to change image orientation - there are several to choose from. Once you have it set where you want it, just touch the power button briefly for on-off.

Thanks for the help. One more question. Camera working fine foe 3 travel days. Then get “no signal” Turned off and unplugged multiple times. No luck any ideas?

Are your TV headlights on? The factory installation requires TV headlights-on to provide power to the camera.

Are you running something new? I asked because on my old TV, I tried mounting my TPMS monitor under the dash but it blanked out whenever my GPS was on... Had to move the monitor.

Long shot but who knows?

"No signal" to me would say that the unit is still paired with the monitor, but the camera is no longer sending. I'd check the power to the camera with a meter.
