Question New full-timer...

2009 Flying Cloud 25 ft and 5 days full-timing. Looked for similar threads so not to bother, though none answering this general question. Any tips or must "dos or don'ts" that apply to full time living? I will also be full timing in Colorado winters.... Wow! Thank you.

Welcome to the forums. Remember, there are no foolish questions. You will always get an answer from someone.

I at 7,100 feet, a friend of mine with an A/S lives @ 11,000 ft. and we get out of here for the winter to Quartsite, AZ. We usually leave about Oct. 1 and then come back mid late April. Would be an option for you.

Airstream heating systems have been designed so they heat the holding tanks and ducting systems run near water lines. However if you let it freeze up it is difficult to get caught up . If you are going to stay in Manitou Springs all year in the A/S then you will need to put skirting and insulate it pretty heavily.

Try going back to the forums...click on fulltimers...then when that opens --at the top you will see 'thread starter' click on that and you will see another page open that has a title box and your content below...fill it in and submit 'new thread' box down below. Then people will see your post as it will show up in the portal.

keep movin...that is our plan

Five months into our fultime adventure... a quarter of the time we alloted for this trek...so we look to two and a half years of road time ahead

anyway we plan to keep the road hot, as long as fuel remains reasonable...staying in one place only , at the max a week...then hittin the road...figuring it will take three years to see this country and then only knowing where we want to return .....

we are looking for a new home...leaving Tejas for good...so a total survey of the country is in order...every crook and cranny must be looked in to evaluate the right spot to set down permanent anchor...

a rollin stone gather no moss
