1992 350LE for sale (again?)

This add just posted on Ebay but seem to think it has been previously listed or at least noted by another Member..seems a bit rough but definitely one that could be brought back...anyone care to guess what the reserve is or indeed the final price if it gets sold?

Same here, I've seen it a number of times now.....

Obviously bought by someone who now knows what is terribly wrong with it, and is desperately trying to get out their initial investment.

Go in with eyes wide open......

Even Bob would pass....

Cheers
Tony

Believe I saw this for sale about 5 years ago, maybe from previous owner. Remember it being in LOTS better shape. The statements about having it towed are enough to scare me away, especially since there's a reserve on the eBay price. Looking at the description, both roof A/C's "missing"?? Means holes in roof? If he would sell it for $5k, maybe, but since it's in PA, and I'm in FL, pass

Ya

Seems to me I've seen it recently upon eBay also, in better shape!
If he gets a dime (.10) over (10,000) I'll have a few pictures up on eBay to
I'll even offer a tail light guarantee (guaranteed to run till the tail lights are out of my view)

Seems the seller prematurely pulled the ad..wonder why when the bids went to $7100?...explanation given is that the item is no longer available??

Hi Airstream Forum Members,
I've recently decided to sell my 1991 350LE and posted the ad on "Airstream Classified". In an attempt to find my coach a good and deserving home, I'm also working with a national RV seller. For some reason, when using the Google search function with "1991 Airstream by (Airstream) 350LE for sale in Austin Texas", the above thread pops up! Clearly the above comments do, not relate to my wonderful, pristine example so, I'm a little piqued that these rather derogatory comments appear to relate to some other vehicle. The fact that (again?) appears in the search could unreasonably put-off potential buyers. Can anyone on the forum assist in sorting out this tragic misunderstanding by removing the posting thread entirely?

Chris, wasn't it your 350 that lost the battery tray while driving a while back?

I wouldn't think that having a massive battery tray failure would qualify your 350 as a "wonderful pristine example". Am I missing something here?

Brad

Naaaw, he picked up what was left of it, banged out a couple of dings; it's all good, right as rain.

Love this talking smack about others coaches.[emoji482]

Cheers

Tony, you crack me up

I hope all is well up in the snowy tundra of the north. At least I assume it's snowy based on the time of year

Brad..thankfully the "massive battery box failure" was, up to a point repaired. Unable to find a "replacement" exacerbated by the loss of the slides, the old steel box and aluminum front panel were "tin bashed" to about 80% of their former self leaving the new owner plenty of scope to exercise his or her creative talent. As I believe failure of the original latches contributed to the catastrophe, I have reverted to good old "suitcase" types which although rather 18th century ensure the batteries stay in thier appoined places!

Interesting. Post a picture, I'd like to see how the latches look.
