1976 Argosy Manual
Somewhere along the line I ran across and downloaded a 1976 Argosy manual in pdf format.
I will try and learn how to attach it or a link to it for all who would like it to be able to get it.
If anyone can teach me how the insert a link works please let me know so I can do this
(I went to manage attachments -- uploaded pdf file and it went somewhere but I don't know where to tell you where to go get the manual I uploaded -- nor what url to use to post a link to it -- sorry newbie here)

Hi John, the topic comes up occasionally and it's easiest just to email it if someone asks for a copy. On the Argosy Owners FB page we were trying to set up a Dropbox type repository but so far that hasn't come about.
Be aware there is the motorhome manual, the chassis manual, the Chevy light truck manual and the year specific Chevy light truck supplement. If you PM me our email I can send any you dont have have they are large files (the Chevy light truck only is around 40mb).

I just bought our first motorhome, a 28 ft 1976 Argosy. I attempted to PM you, but the system says that I am not allowed to PM members until I am a "trusted member" I don't want to be a burden or to waste your time, so I will gladly Paypal you money if you could send me the manuals that you have digital copies of. I have been unable to locate anywhere online where the manuals are available and they would be a huge help. I have a very ambitious plan to drive this motorhome 1000 miles in exactly a month from Illinois to Texas. Should be fun to see what breaks on a 42 year old motorcoach. Anyway, thank you for your help!

Hi Martin, Thanks for the Argosy manual. Unfortunately, I didn't make it clear that I have a 24' trailer, not a motor home.... I should have known that you had a motor home by your picture - but I just got too excited about the manual.... If you have a 1976 Argosy trailer manual or can suggest where to find one - please let me know and again Thanks!

I guess you need to post in the trailer forum if you need a trailer manual.

Hi John,
Did you find the manual and was it a 1976 Argosy trailer manual or a motor home manual? If it was a trailer manual and you can email it to me, I would very much appreciate it. I have the 1976 motor home manual, but alas, as you might surmise, we have a trailer (24' model"
Thanks again!

I'm new here - I didn't know there were separate forums for trailers and motor homes. I thought it was all Airstreams/Argosys.
Have a Nice Day!
