Anyone have any idea what it may do? Also there is a pull that says heater on it that is next to the window on the passenger side. I can heat a damper move when it pushes in or pulls out, but the manual has not info on what it does in either position. Thanks in advance for the help!

Todd,

I can think of a couple of different possibilities. It could be your electric fuel pump as others have suggested or it could be your fuel tank diverter valve if you have dual tanks. Our 1974 20' Argosy MH has dual tanks and has a switch added on the dash. The tank appears to have been added by Airstream but the switch on the dash had no labels on it.

Definitely let us know what it is when you figure it out!

Brad

I installed a similar switch on my last mh to turn off the radio as it's memory stayed active and drained battery when in long term storage, two weeks ;-(

That would be my guess as well. Our "new" Suburban had those holes and that switch.

After fog lights and fuel system, another possibility is the PO put a cutoff switch to the annoying fan that is designed to run on lo whenever the ignition is on!

I have a 28' 1977 Argosy. I have two switches in about the same place that operate the dash mounted fans.
