I suggest you never post photos of an empty engine bay Yuki. If not Tony will come along and suggest you fill the space with a Cummins diesel!

I get a homework that is how to remove the lock nut.

I used a hammer and cold chisel. Use the cold chisel by placing it close to the corner of the nut and hammering on it to try and get the nut to turn.

Oh! Cummins diesel is nice but I'm going to go with Chevy.
I should have put a plate which give notice "Reserved" in the engine bay.

Thank you for the advice!
I'll try to do that.
By the way should I use a cold chisel when tighten the nut?
However, a remanufactured brake booster has not arrived yet.

Yuki has a lot more incredible Japanese diesel choices and better parts availability than a Cummins.
How about an Isuzu 6BD1T , or a Hino turbo diesel. I'm sure there's a JDM turbo diesel that would be a perfect fit.
FYI When I took my coach in for its initial going over and certification, the truck shop I took it into were big into Cummins; the owner had a Dodge Cummins, and so did almost every employee; but the couple of mechanics I spoke with were very impressed with the Isuzu 6BD1 in my rig, and admitted that the Isuzu was far better in quality to the Cummins.
Cheers

Nice job Yuki! I’m enjoying this thread. I’m wanting to get busy on my 20’ MH but weather and work has had me sidelined.

Yes, we can get Isuzu, Hino and Mitsubishi diesel engines.
Definitely those are good quality.
Of course turbo is perfect!
If it's possible to convert to an diesel engine easily, that's great.
Diesel is more durable and cheaper running cost than gas.
However, Tokyo and near prefectures legislate a strict law for old diesel engines. I can't registration it where I live..

Hahaha! Yeah, but I don't know what would become of the Argosy.

I almost remember which bolts go which holes.
But I forget some pieces..
Maybe I'd say "Dang, where did it come form?"

Thank you for the compliment!
Oh.. that's not good.
Anyway, you don't need to be in a rush, you're blessed than me.
I spend more time, and extra money for shipping fee & tax with every shopping.

Throwback to the my work... "Steering gear box"
I've repaired a steering gear box in 2017.
Because it spilled fluid on the floor.
The fluid came from between the stub shaft and seal.
I need to remove and dismantle that.
First, I removed fluid lines, a steering coupler and a drag link from the gear box.
It's a little bit heavy..
Then remove a pitman arm.
Next, I made marks their positions.
Then remove a lock nut and an adjuster plug. But the adjuster plug was very tight!
I couldn't remove it so I asked super mechanic for help.
He removed the adjuster nut with a punch and hammer.
He made beautiful grooves on it. He's definitely super!
I saw an Airstream motorhome at his shop!
Anyway, I replaced O-rings, seals and bearings.
But I couldn't to replace the big teflon seal, it's a little bit bigger than the original..
Never mind, I've rebuilt the steering gear box.
I fixed the gear box and connected all of the parts that I've removed.
Filled power steering fluid in the stuffs.
Maybe, they're work well but....
To be continued the next article...

Throwback to the my work... "Power steering hoses"
I've repaired the steering gear box.
It didn't leak the fluid, so my work is done.
But....
I saw the bad thing that spraying the fluid from the pipes.
I turned off the engine immediately, then checked the pipes.
I found out a pin hole on it.
Removed the power steering lines.
The fitting had stuck, it broke when I remove.
I need to search the power steering lines.
But unfortunately, I couldn't find same parts on the Internet.
So I decided to use similar hoses instead of the original pipes.
I bought three of pressure hoses.
The one of those was able to use for the pressure line.
Bent a little bit with a tube bender.
The return hose is very easy to change.
It consists of a hose barb fitting and a rubber hose.
The work is completed.
However, if I do the same things now, I make hoses with AN fittings and hoses.
That looks smarter than diversion.
I added a fluid filter.
Anyway they didn't leak the fluid from anywhere!
