I hung around the M-Ball at 29 Palms (it was close to the fire) and did learn the secret handshake. I will not reveal it at the Dead Horse Rally. It's a NorCal thing.

with any luck, internet access will abound on your side (my bro has provided for sat. up / down links free at taxpayer expense in dead horse). i'd start posting little snips to folks around the world as to what REALLY happens at a rally (insert imagination here) about 1pm saturday afternoon. who really is backing up the 'stream (ED or LUCY?), post your most secret rally recipes using the little word doc inserts (look above)... Mball tragedy stories, true tales of trailer trash lust.... think disneyland meets overly creative walt on steroids and in a trailer (for examples you could review my last 20 posts over in the FCU Dead Horse thread).... i will document the "Beat a Dead Horse to Death Kamp n Convention", from arizona. remember, THE WORLD, is watching.
as far as whats in the box.... good gravy, KT Bar the Door.... CHAOS.

i just completed the grocery shopping for my convention n rally this weekend.... holy molies...
as your aware i'm doing the "Spotted Owl n Wild Rice Dish", for the pot luck ( click here post #481, word doc file).
i just spent $812 for two people for a weekend, not including beverages!
i knew owl was expensive, but whoa thunder n lightning!!!
anyway...
might want to try a spam dish... i've heard that spam tastes like chicken... any ideas? (post recipes as a word or text file blue thingie)
might keep the cost more in the free ranging zone...

Hello All; I'l be in Kauai during this rally so I will try to get on line somehow. May be tough as I do not own a lap top. I just do not like the name of those things. My real dilemma is the time change thing.Maybe someone could explain this to me. I'm aware of the different "feeds" available now thru cable and satellite- I really want to watch the Daytona 500 sunday on the east coast feed so that I will be unencumbered as to viewing the "rally" feed.So am I correct in assuming that if I keep the east coast feed going I will see things before they happen?? No problem DG, since we will be in Malibu on the coast and you will be in Kauai on the coast, Kevbo has arranged to have one of his buddies pull a "line" across the Pacific and hook up cans on each end. So you can be on "line" and not miss anything and forget the laptop as you wish.

I've assembled a rather eclectic selection of hats over the years (no fezes). Maybe we should each bring a hat of our own that makes a personal fashion statement. I know, it's a scary thought for this group, but it could be interesting. Ron
