Pot 'n Luck

I was always under the impression, correct me if I'm wrong, which I usually am, that with a potluck, it was bad luck to disclose what you were a puttin' into the pot.

Now I understand that many New Englanders like livin' on the wild side. Instead of a simple tossed salad they instead opt for an "AntiGravity Antipasto." By the way, how Andre gets fresh deli meats and cheeses airborn in the first place should be a concern to us all.

At least Ann will keep you guessing: one day it's shish-kabobs; the next day it's a crock of sausages or an antipasto -- I don't know; then it's -- forget the antipasto -- hand that over to Levitating Andre; now, it's something called "snausages." With 9 days to go it's anybody's guess!

Robin with her stuffed peppers and Italian Wedding soup? OK. There's some mystery involved there ...

And while we're on the subject, I hope I speak for the group when I say that much more mystery would be appreciated by all from the fellow who claims to have no jammies. I think "ewwwwwwwww" was quite apropos and nicely summed up the entire group's feelings. We all like the little meatballs too, but we really don't need to see how buff you think you are now. Thank you.

What am I adding to the pot? I can't tell you. Too superstitious.

Hope you like it though!

Thumbs up Lol!!

You are just too wicked funny! (This is New England speak for "you have a great sense of humor").

I'm wearing flamingo PJs and a fulll length robe. Don't want to see any of the kids crying out in fear.......

Dear mr. balrgn,

Rumor has it that mr. j. rick of rickandsandi fame has got a lot on his aluminum plate right now. Leno and Letterman both want him on their show to discuss flamingos, photography and toasters and are in excited discussion with his agent Howard k. Stern. Totally unreliable sources close to the scene, however, believe he will be dissing all media requests for now and just let his close friend Johnny Depp handle Charlie Rose some time early next week while his high school sweetheart Bo Derek will schmooze with Larry King tomorrow night. This will give him time to finish his autobiography, "Gutenberg Should've Made Decals!"

Fortunately, with all of this hoopla, an opportunity has arisen! Fair maiden Sandi just might be susceptible to a brazen midday kidnapping by members of a rival gang, the cocu crips, who have somehow managed to infiltrate the highly sensitive databases of the neu bloods. Their daring plan to bring the blushing bride to Winter Rig or Rent is dependant upon utter secrecy. If the j. rick portion of rickandsandi were to get a whiff of this plan there is no doubt that an F-14 Tomcat would lock on to the Peanut and deploy its sidewinders.

Loose lips sink ships mr. balrgn. Destroy this pm upon receipt.

Yours truly,
myboyburt

Yes they are...I use them to clicker train my dog. They are billed as: "The most fun a dog can eat."

Perhaps I'll swing by with my clicker and see who I can train.

Snausages

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Snocrates, mascot for Snausages since 1984.

Snausages are a dog treat of small pieces that resemble miniature "pigs in blankets" (in the American sense of sausages wrapped in dough). They come in several different flavors, including "bacon and cheese" and "beef and cheese". Snausages are produced by Del Monte Foods, intended for canine consumption only.
Del Monte aggressively marketed Snausages upon the product's launch in 1984, using a talking dog mascot named Snocrates, a pun on the name of the philosopher Socrates. The product's catchphrase: "The most fun a dog can eat."

I love the idea of lunch in North Conway!

Only thing we need to do is to check to insure our vacation house in Center Ossipee is still standing. Before AS (before Airstream) we used our vacation house 70% of the time weekending. After AS (after Airstream) it's 1% (like, yikes).
