We're good for 2 weeks, Sorry will be in Disney next week.. Can't say how bummed we are, Gampin in the winter then off to Florida was a dream!
WE WANNA CAMP!

It may blow by then again it may not. Not to be an alarmist, but the Spaulding is risky on Friday nights, Skiiers going north and all.. Keep us posted.

Yes, and I've been looking forward to this for the last two YEARS for.

Maybe it's time to consider another date.

Maybe it's time to rename... "2007 Rig or Rent version 3.1"

Maybe it's time to start a new thread with a poll...

Weekend of the 10th? 17th? 24th? Two of the above? All of the above?

We woke up to everything being covered in ice...E & I made the tough decision that it would be better to reschedule. I don't mind driving in snow but ice is a killa...so sorry guys .

We're aiming for the 16th right now but I guess that could be moved if we decide on another date.

Roads are still bad, keeps changing over from snow to sleet.

The only date we can not make it is the weekend of the 9th - 11th

Again, I ask, where are you getting your weather forecast's from? I know the weather is bad, but your forecasts are worst than any I have seen on TV or online. Yeeks! Thank goodness you have a day job!

Actually Andre and I are making all of this up because it started looking like the Winter Rig or Rent was becoming a girlie thing with pj contests and all and we trying to get out of it so we can attend the Buffin' Buddies Rally!

Winter Rig and Rent MUST Be rescheduled! It is not an easy decision but the weather here is and north is freeezing rain. Very unsafe. In talking with Sandi we can get 3 cabins for the 16th. That is the best we can do. The others are rented. This may take some shuffling as we needed 5 cabins.

Lets work the problem people...Lets see who will still come on the 16th, Who needs a cabin and who can come in sites and try to get the same crowd assembled. I'm willing to come in a my trailer so someone else can have my spot.

If it helps take the sting out our cabins went to help stranded travelers in this area. Also I would like to mention that the manamger does not usually allow this to happen regarding applying the $$ to another weekend so we have the campground to thank for their coorperation.

Robin

Unhappy

Good morning Robin-

Although Sandi is very disappointed in the cancelling this weekend, she was very much looking forward to working with everyone on the wedding planning. We can't make it the weekend of the 16th, sorry!

I know it was a very hard call but with the weather being more ICE than snow probably a good idea. Will they hold everyone's deposit for another weekend?

driving to work was nasty...saw a wipeout in-progress on 95N (I was headed south...). car was spinning like a top...then went into the median. Luckily for them, traffic is light in that direction.
anyhoo, I just wanted to mention for you CT folks...if you want to boondock in my driveway, (in the NE corner of MA), it is available. Roads should be fine later thisafternoon. (not so once you get farther north...they'll still be crappy and treacherous for some time). You could get 2/3 of the way, wait out the cleanup at my house, then get an early start tomorrow AM, and get there mid-morning on clear, dry, lightly travelled roads. Danforth is about 1.5 hours from here.
