I have been looking at it, and the new Beret has a article favoring installation.

I had one installed at Escanaba last year. It works as advertized.

Region 3 rally....Myrtle Beach, SC

We run our 15,000 btu A/C with a Honda 2000 propane...thanks to the easy start. But you won’t need the generator at Region 3!

Hey, hey, nah, nah, kiss him goodbye.

Sue, Cheryl and I are scheduled for Ocean Lakes arriving Tuesday, and leaving Monday. Site 2212 is as close as we could get to the Rally sites.

I requested the time off as a week of vacation, and it was granted! My last day of work before retirement is Sunday April 22, instead of Monday April 30!

Excited to get back to Myrtle Beach, and anxious to see what trouble we can get into at our first Region Rally as WBCCI members.

As a guitarist, I am hoping to find other musicians who may want to get together to jam too.

Phil

Great news, Phil. We will help you celebrate retirement and if you get too rowdy we will just throw you in the ocean to cool you off!

Thanks, Gary, John and Beth. Regarding celebrating, I promise not to drink and drive any vehicle...might have pry the guitar from my hands though.

We can stop anywhere and run our A/C off of one Honda EU2000 genset versus two for a few hours of rest, then move on. We think it's one of the more sensible options on our trailer. It's true that it may not be "needed" by many AS'rs, but it's nice to have, don't knock it till you try it!!

Glad you are coming, Debbie. As a true first timer, just be prepared to learn a lot, meet lots of friendly folks, and have a great time. Looking forward to meeting you there.

Hi Debbie...just to underline what Randy said, we are glad to have you and all you need to bring is your smile. You will fit right in, we are family. There will be lots to do or you can do nothing at all, just wander around and meet your kin folk. I am sure there will be other Interstate owners there so don't be shy, jump right on in. And let us know if we can help in any way. John

At the park now! Took a walk, and it is big...

Have a big tree in my spot, but once I got in, I'm fine with it: will provide shade in afternoon sun (of course, right now its cool enough to enjoy the sun).

Talked with some SE Camping Unit folks, as well as TOG.

We'll be at registration tomorrow after 1pm, so we hope to see more familiar faces.

It is Wednesday....let the fun begin!!

Welcome everyone to Ocean Lakes and the 2018 Region 3 Rally. We are expecting around 175 happy rigs to be joining us. There are already quite a few here and 75 are due in today.

We have decided to open registration early so drop by the Recreation Building anytime after 9am this morning to say hello and get your packet. It won't take but a minute, then you can get back to enjoying the fabulous beach.

Rita will be joining us at 5pm today to greet everyone so be sure to be there.
Then at 6:00 we have the official kick off.

Glad you are here.....you will like it. John

Great shot, Phil. The big moon over the ocean was indeed special.

Glad you, Sue, and Cheryl could be there, hope you had a great time.

And congrats on retirement.

Many Thanks!

I don't know if anyone is still reading this thread. I just wanted to say how wonderful the Rally turned out and how much I enjoyed it, this being my 1st everything: trailer, trip, rally, etc. The location was spectacular! Although I am in a different Region (6), I'm so happy I decided to attend this Rally. I love the people and everyone was especially nice and helpful.
Also I want to apologize for leaving the festivities early Saturday night. The Clogging was lively and wish it had been after dinner instead of before, as we became sleepy after dinner. The music following dinner was great but too relaxing after the meal for me.
Thanks again for everyone's welcome! I love you all!

Celtic music dominated our musical choices all the way home! Thanks to the Jacobites by Name for the entertainment Saturday evening, and we listened to the CD a lot during our trip home. Cheryl especially liked the song that Gordon Lightfoot based The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald on.

Phil

Ps, we stayed a couple (OK, 3) extra days, then we swung up to Palmetto Cove Thursday evening for an overnight.
