Attention all NEU members. We need to start thinking of a theme for our potluck. I know you all have some great ideas. Let's hear them!

My Dad had to get through some medical issues and now that they are nearly behind him the Region 1 Rally Hosts will be receiving my folks registration (and check, of course). That means we'll have folks from as far away as ARIZONA!

Hey!!! A strong maybe

While it's stilll somewhat early in our plans, as of now we are planning on making your rally. How late can we register and how early (a day or two) can we arrive at the rally site? How about dogs, are they allowed? Later when it's a sure thing, perhaps you can give us good routes to get there .
Best,

Best,
Dogs, cats, birds, guinea pigs, etc. are all welcome. In fact many of us in the NEU are pet owners/lovers and would not dream of being in attendance without them.

I don't believe there is a cut off for registration for the R1R, but just to be sure click on my rally link below and send an email to the rally hosts. I believe early parking begins the Saturday before the rally - I'll be there, look me up!

That way all of your fellow NEU members could make up spam casseroles for our potluck table. We know how much you love it (along with boiled ham and green peas). Yummy!

Lots of excitement

Good morning. Lots of talk I see about Alumination Celebration.

We will update the website soon with additional information.

To clarify a few things. (1) We do allow pets at the rally. (2) Please be sure to register as early as possible so that we can plan and order enough supplies for meals, etc. We assume there will be a few registrations at the last minute and will allow for a small number. There are two concentric circles of parking for up to 100 rigs. Those spots will be filled first and then we will fill an adjacent row just outside the circular area.

(3) We will be working on parking Vintage rigs together. Be sure to check the box on your registration form. Of course those registering prior to the 100 rig mark, will be parked in the circular area adjacent to each other. After that we will start a third row for Vintage.

(4) Early parking starts Tuesday. You can register for early parking on the form and pay a minimal fee for the extra days. Earlier parking is available in the bullpen for fee and must be arranged with the Registrar prior to your arrival.

(5) Early workers will be arriving Saturday and Sunday to set up the grounds and buildings. They will park at no cost until Tuesday. Volunteers must pre-register with the Co-Chairmen of Aluminations and be prepared to be assigned specific tasks. Of course we will need a few days to get everything ready. We can't wait to get started!

Thanks for the clarification Pam

That's good to know, thanks for the info. I know we'll be there early helping with set up. We've already registered and guaranteed our spot in the inner circle. My understanding is that if you haven't registered early and you arrive early that you will have to move out of the inner circle for the rally, is this correct? No worries for us but others may want to think about getting their registrations in if they plan on arriving early.

Parking

Hi, You are being logged in as your registrations arrive in the mail to the Registrar. Your parking area will be assigned and when you arrive you will be parked according to the date or your registration. So if you are registered within the first 100 you will be in the first two circles, after that there are other outer rows being developed. So, it doesn't matter when you arrive actually, you will either wait in "bullpen parking" or be taken to the correct area. No moving once you're settled in. The only one's that will move are the early workers or very early arrivals (before Tuesday) who will camp in the bullpen until the campground area is all set, then we move over.

I think one of the Rally Hosts said we have over 60 rigs signed up for the RIR so far - and this was before some additional sign ups during the Spring into Camping Rally.

I signed up at spring into camping too.

Course Earl had me make out the check to Cash, and it was several thousand dollars above the registration sheet's number........hmmmmm. Ah well, it will all work out.
