2007 Vintage Airstream Club Pre-International Gathering and Parade

June 26 & 27 2007

Calling all Vintage Airstream Club members! Please join us, June 26, 2007 in Perry Georgia, at the pre-rally gathering and meeting place for the vintage parade. Experience one of the most spectacular VAC events by participating in the Vintage Parade into the 50th International Rally! Time to strut all that vintage aluminum and share your passion with other "aluminuts".

Vintage Airstream Club members are encouraged to join us on the afternoon of June 26, 2007 near the International Rally site. We have arranged a VAC group reservation for 50 trailers at Fair Harbor RV Park with full hook-ups (50/30/20 amp) and a special group rate of $25 per night. Check-in time is any time after 12:00 noon and your campsite fees will be collected by the park staff individually - no need to send any money now. We do however need to have your name on the VAC Group Reservation List in order for you to park with the group and receive the discounted rate. Please contact me with your intent to join us, by either PM or email to maxwell@insideout-design.net a return email will be sent with your confirmation number which will be required at the campground for check-in. If we need more campsites we may be able get more, but not at the last minute... please let us know you're coming at your earliest convenience, before June 1st please.

We will be having a "Meet & Greet" happy hour gathering the evening of June 26th and at 8 am on the 27th, we will line up and parade into the fairgrounds for a 10 am arrival, in plenty of time for our parking at the rally site before the heat of the day. All those that plan on parking with the VAC at International should plan on joining us on the afternoon of the 26th.

2007 Vintage Airstream Club - International Rally Parking

June 27 – July 5th 2007

Newsflash!!!!

WBCCI President Don Shafer has set aside 88 spaces with sewer hook-ups & 30 amp electric for the VAC parking at International this year! So, for those VAC Members who sign-up for the upgraded 30 amp electric, we will also have sewer hook-ups! Yippee!!!! No messing with a honey wagon during Open House this year!

Here's the only catch, we have to have the names of all the VAC Members, who also sign up for 30 amp electric and plan to park in this vintage area on the VAC master list by June 8th. This list will be turned into the parking committee prior to our arrival. If your name is not on this list, you will not be able to park in this designated area. You will still get 30amp parking (if paid for), however it will not be in the VAC area with the sewer hook-ups – it will be with the general membership. Also, if any of the 88 spaces are not used by the VAC, they will be given back to the parking committee for general membership parking. So it is really important to email me to let me know the following:

1.Your name and WBCCI number
2.If you will be participating in the parade
3.Your scheduled date of arrival – if not in the parade
4.Confirm that you upgraded to 30 amp electric and received an “E” with your registration paperwork from WBCCI

If you are planning on attending the International Rally in Perry, GA and parking with the VAC in the 30 amp w/sewer section and have not let me know yet, please do! I will need the following information to be sure you will be accommodated:

1) Your name
2) WBCCI Membership number? Are you a VAC Member?
3) Did you receive an "E" with your registration?
4) Will you be participating in the VAC Parade?
5) Will you be joining us on June 26th at Fair Harbor RV Park? We will parade/caravan in together on the 27th from FHRVP
6) Do you have any special needs?

If you have already emailed me and received a confirmation number for Fair Harbor RV Park from me, there is no need to re-contact me again. If you do not have a confirmation number, please let me know your intentions by sending be an email directly at: maxwell@insideout-design.net by June 3rd.

Your name must be on the VAC Attendees List in order to obtain a sewer hook-up within the VAC parking area. I've been told, there will be no exceptions...sorry! The "official" list must be received by the WBCCI Parking Committee no later than June 8th. Please don't be left out...tell everyone you know!

This will be our first time participating in the vintage parade. Is there anything special we need to do to prepare for this?
