Pinehurst NC Mini-Rally In Progress

Clancy Boy (Mike & Tina) arrived at the Pinehurst RV Park having just waved at the famous funeral coach of Glen Coombe as they neared the park. Little did they know that Glen had already secured a site two spots over from them.

I was on my way to the store when I spotted them in their almost new AS. I was surprised to see the rig one spot away but even more surprised when I learned who it was.

We've declared an impromtue mini forum rally to be underway and invite you all to attend.

I'm bugging out for home tomorrow but Mike and Tina are in town for a graduation ceremony of their neice.

You never know who you're going to meet on your travels.

What a hoot! Nope, you never know who you're going to meet. And that Clancy Boy, he just turns up like a bad penny anyway, you've got to watch him . . .

Did I say that out loud?

Glen, hope ya'll enjoyed your stay. Mike and Tina (and Daisy), may you have fun on your first trip out this year.

Back HOME - darn, time passes so fast when you are having so much fun. So much planning time for such a short vacation. So, we hit the road again soon, more of a get-out-and-hit-the-road sort of trip and much less planning.

Glen, It was great meeting you and getting the tour or the "coach". She is a beauty and we were honored to share the campground with you. Hope to see you this fall in N GA.

For any of you needing a camp site on I20 between Atlanta and Augusta - we know a great one and will add it to the reviews soon. FDR State Park in S GA off I85 is also a great place and lots to do.

More later - have to unpack.

AGHHHHhhhhhhhhhh - I have to get out more..............
