i am going to volunteer sue and the alumalounge for the saturday's happy hour. the alumalounge is always party central!

everyone please remember that the pot luck dishes need to be ready to go at 6pm. please plan accordingly.

P.S. you may want to bring a chair with your glass to the friday thing. I'll also have a a small fire in the split 55 gal drum thing they provide at the campsite. Got some seasoned cherry wood to burn.
I'm sure looking forward to the kayak trip down the river, and seeing everyone again.

I "met" one of the rally goers on Thursday. They were busy getting the trailer weighed at the Templeton Feed and grain and didn't really have time to talk at the moment. Didn't catch the name, they were towing a nice mostly original '72 Safari and said they were going to the rally.

Well, we're going to make it to our first rally! We got a site by the river. Looking forward to meeting everybody!

Water Water Everywhere !!!

So LL and I were sitting down to a nice dinner here at Vine View Heights after a day of getting things in order for the upcoming trip. She says- Whats that noise?, Huh me without my hearing aids on- what noise? She says it sounds like it's coming from under there- as she points to a lower hatch. Holy crap it's the hot water line that I temporarily fixed at LSA the last time we Rallied there. Well it lasted a year and a half, pretty good for temp fix!! Anyway I scrambled outside and shut off the water most rikiki-tik. then started drying out the floor. Kinda funny in a way.
Got it repaired thanks to a left over amout of hose from Neil= Thanks again bubba..
And Neil- We'll all be waiting for up to the minute weather reports from Casini!!
Well back to gettin the Burb loaded.
Vine View Heights-- Best place in Lodi to take a leak..

Naw. Have class all week and work next weekend.
I have 2 very public fires to investigate, even if I had planned on going I would have had to cancel. Y'all have fun!

A few weeks ago we camped in Santa Cruz and some folks parked next to us in a monster size class A. I saw him turning off the water supply to his coach each time they would go off for a walk or when preparing for bed. I asked him why they do that? He said in the off chance a hose failed inside the coach then all is good. Later I told my wife he is probably right but what a pain.. I wont be doing that.

Now after reading your post?... (chances are i probably still wont do it) but glad you were there to catch it in time before you had a mess everywhere. See you soon..

We just jiggled our arrival day to Thurs not Wed. We will depart on the 15th. We felt it very important to be certain that Big Dee is chapperoned all the time he's at Casini. Also there 'may' be some snow at our house when we were supposed to leave and my shipment of my new Cyclo Polisher is supposed to be Tueday or Wednesday and I would not be comfortable with it on our lonely doorstep.
