The wet grass on the hill dried out so I moved over to the lakeside campsite at Kelly & John's farm where there's a nice breeze and more shade.

Looks like the rally needs to be on the farm next year!

We're getting the Airstream loaded up today and ready for an early start. We're hearing so many new "Michigan" words that I'm wondering if we should try to find a pocket language guide for our trip up! I'm not thinking I'll try those blind things. Laird likely would.

Right now we're strongly leaning towards doing the Grand Hotel Lunch Buffet. Kelly, thanks for all the organizing, researching, and contacting you are doing!

The Boat

We're getting the boat cleaned up this afternoon. It will be sparkling for our scenic cruises.

We made a few changes to the schedule. Now the fishing charter is Thursday and Saturday instead of Friday and Saturday which gives Adam & Leroy a chance to enjoy Mackinac Island.

We also moved one of the scenic cruises to work hand in hand with the Mackinac Island day, so it will leave from and return to the island in time for the happy hour at the Pink Pony.

On Saturday we moved the scenic cruise from 4 PM to 8 PM so it wouldn't interfere with the potluck. It will be neat to be on the water for sunset.

So here's what we're going to call the final schedule.

So envious - I want to be at Kelly's too!! It looks fabulous, and a perfect setting.

We actually had 6 hours of rain here in St. Louis, not a deluge, but a nice steady rain. It was good and the trailer is dry.

Great ideas on tweaking the schedule - you guys are thinking of everything. The boat looks awesome - HUGE!

STEVE - weird note - I cannot get the new schedule to open on my pc (windows) - but I can get it to open on the MAC... I don't know if anyone else if having problems.

See you Wednesday!

Tina

Don't let the Dramamine Note Stop You

We can see the weather/wind indicators for our cruise days and the waves should be just fine. If you like boats and boat riding at all, this will be a trip you won't want to miss. How many people can say they have cruised UNDER the Mackinac Bridge? Get your name on the list and reserve a spot. We've got some fishing opportunities left and so if you want to try salmon fishing and have never fished before, go ahead and sign on! These fish are fighters and you'll have a whale of a good time reeling 'em in. Go for it.

Updated Boat Schedule WITH CHANGES ** Please Review **

THERE ARE CHANGES **PLEASE READ CAREFULLY**

Each day I will post an updated boating reservations list. There are a lot of folks who will be signing up for the cruises and fishing at registration at the campground. This is the pre-registration list so far. FYI: Boat sleeps 4, has a full kitchen and head (bathroom.)

Keep the Private Messages coming! Need all names in your party, your phone, your email, your 1st, 2nd, 3rd choices. Thank you!

We couldn't get the projector so I scratched the NBC Olympics Coverage from the schedule.

We took to boat down to the barn and pressure-washed the scum line. Also did some fishing and a campfire under the moonlight.
