Starting to look like you guys are going to have a ball. Skye and I cancelled pretty early on, and for a while I was worried that this happy event was not going to happen. Glad to see it is steadily growing instead of getting smaller.
We will be in Breckenridge Recreation Area on Lake Texana. Decided to opt for some quiet time all by ourselves..
Have fun all!!

Yep, we will be somewhere else, and just a couple days on our own before the kids show up.
Glad Bruce and Roseann changed their minds. I see they will bring the Argosy. Must be nice to have a dozen or so trailers to choose from..

I would just need to get a box of rock salt, have an ice supply, and know what type of frozen treat to make.

Glad you and your sister will have some time together. I am happy to see more kids since they always seem to have a good time at rally events. I even got a call from Bruce that he and Roseanne may end up being able to make it. This rally ended up being a pretty good size of people. Unbeknownst to me until the other day, Collin is done with school this Wednesday. I am calling the park to see if I can have my spot on Thursday night, and will drive out after Geek Squad comes to my house if there it is open.

Steve, my Steve says you are the ultimate Renaissance man. He wants to know if you milk your own cows and grow your own watermelon.
My sister called today and unfortunately, she has to cancel. Bummer So Steve and I will arrive early Friday afternoon. Can't wait.
Sams, I can also pick up some Bluebell(homemade vanilla of course)!!!!

Kelly,
Oddly enough, I did plant watermelon today along with cucumbers in the garden. Lots of vines in our future. No renaissance man here, but I like to know what goes into the ice cream I am making. I will still bring the churn...something may present an opportunity to make into dessert.

Becky and I are still trying to decide what to bring to the potluck. We can bring an array of different fruits, maybe a fruit salad or something similar or we could do green chile chicken burritos. Let us know what the greatest need is.
Thanks all!

Matt,
I think you will get a different opinion from different people. My personal vote is green chile chicken burritos. I am a chili head and love spicy/flavorful food!

I am fortunate to be a bachelor this weekend when I see these two foods on the potluck menu (2 of my favorites BTW).

I reserved 2 spots, my husband has a friend that was going to buy a new 39' SOB, they only confirmed this past weekend that they will be able to come Friday and Saturday. There names are Rob and Susan (not sure if they are really attending our airstream stuff)
Also, my daughter and a friend will be coming.

I need to figure out how much I can cook on my Egg, but it will be closer to food for twenty. Yes, I was planning on doing a couple of butt roasts, not ribs.

So I just got a call from Christus Santa Rosa hospital recruiting department. I had an interview there a couple weeks ago for an internship on the pediatric operating room team. It was a short and fast interview that went nothing like I imagined. I was just called and offered the job!!!!!
A celebration is in order this weekend. Drinks on me!

Well , we arrived here at Pecan Park. There seems to be plenty of water in the river as there are quite a few tubers on it. I'll check on the burn ban status when the office oens up after lunch. Can't load photos of river.......
NO BURN BAN in effect!! Let's Party
