Hi Everyone. After lurking for several weeks I finally joined the site and just reserved our spot for this rally. We will be in spot 118 and plan to arrive early Friday afternoon.

This will be our second trip out in the Airstream and I am definitely looking forward to meeting everyone and having a great time.

Matt and Becky

Lockhart BBQ is unique & sure is an experience if you haven't been there before.

We will probably arrive late afternoon also. Just enough time to get setup & head out to Lockhart.

Matt & Becky,

Welcome to the World of Airstreaming. You will meet a lot good folks at the Airstream Rallies, most of which will give good advise on the ins & outs of your new 30' Classic. You will find it very comfortable.

Sam & GiGi Spearman

With less than 10 days until the rally, I wanted to sum up some information.

I called the park today and was told that there was NOT a burn ban currently in effect. This means unless something changes fast, we will be free to have fires, use a smoker, or even cook in a dutch oven. I still plan to bring my propane fire pit in case we don't have wood.

Currently waiting to hear back on things like toob rentals and transit to drop off.

Saturday night potluck:
Soldiermedic-Mixed green Salad, Tortilla chips, Salsa
Sphereguy-Cowboy Candy (Candied Jalapeno with Cream cheese)
Sams-Dutch Oven Cobbler
Westfalia-Ribs and/or Boston Butt
Knutson-Mexican Chicken, Cherry dump cake
Deb and Ken-Meat and Veggies

The Line Up:
113-RichHog
119-Westfalia
219-Unk
223-Unk
226-Unk
222-Knutson
224-Cap-N-Red
226-judybug
319-Sphere Guy
320-Sphere Guy
321-Soldiermedic
323-Sams
413-Deb and Ken

I will be arriving Thursday. Site 115.
Will bring two steel camp fire tables for dutch oven cooking, for whomever wants to use them.
Will bring corn-on-the-cob for roasting, meat, veggies, and cornbread.

Very appropriate for Jambalaya without Frenchy being around! Speaking of kids, how many are we expecting to have? Perhaps I can put together something fun for them. I know Westfalia's girls will be there (pre K age), and Collin is going to be 8 this August.

Looks like everything is coming together. We will be leaving Little Rock a week from today & hopefully arrive mid afternoon on Friday. We will also bring a meat or veggie. Don't know what just yet.

We'll have our 2 kids with us. My daughter is 13 and my son is 10.

Sounds like this will be a great trip. Now we just need to figure out what to bring for the potluck. Decisions decisions decisions...

I think I'll make potato salad and bring green beans since that doesn't seem to be on the menu. We are really looking forward to some fun.

Great Deb, I'll change the list.

Jim from the park called me to give me a little more info. First, we are up to 17 trailers. Great news! For anyone wanting to tubing, I have details. Tubes can be rented for the entire weekend for $7.00 (tube without bottom) or $9.00 (Tube with bottom). You can purchase a tube with bottom at Academy for $13.99. Shuttle service is $5 per person each time, or can be purchased for $15 for the entire weekend. If people are open to it, I offer to drop people off at the bridge for the hour float down to the park. There is also a 3 hour float from the park down to the Scull's crossing.

Steve
