Just a quick update on my progress. Yesterday morning I tried on the new leg for the first time. It was for fitting. Was able to easily walk with it and walked about 50 feet. They kept it for more work. Hopefully, I will have it in about two weeks. It was great to be up and around. Since it is only 4 1/2 weeks since the operation, I am doing great. Looking forward to getting out camping again soon.
This is a great progress report, Jim! We're hoping that your next camping trip comes very soon. Max and I can still see you and Maryanne with your motorhome among the palms at the Can Opener This brings our continued best wishes for you, ~G

Thanks for all the good wishes. Got the leg on Tuesday as planned. Am keeping it on for 2-4 hours at a time. Am walking with a walker. We will be out camping soon.
Looking forward to seeing many of you soon. Anyone besides us going to Pecotonica the second week in October?
Glad to see your post Chris. I've been thinking about the very same thing. I'm determined to get there this year - no more pneumonia for me this time around. (twice in one's lifetime is ample anyway!) We're looking forward to seeing everyone again.
