Looks like Pepper wins the celebrity neighbor site. While 107 isn't next to you, you look the closest to the Luhrs. New sign-ups will probably be on that row too. My we stretch across the entire campground! We should all play Living in Aluminum from our radios in unison at a given point in time for opening ceremonies. LOL Poor SOBs.

1 extra day
Well we decided to come one day earlier.I thought about this for a while and I would like to be set up when the majority comes in on Friday.(Passing out name badges and things.)We are also going to leave on a Monday the week before the Rally to start camping elsewhere and are thinking about going to Henderson. After that to Topsail and then maybe back to St.Augustine or Ft.Wilderness.Wasnt there talk about some going down south on Sunday. To many pages and to little time to reread this stuff.

Question to you locals. We will be coming in over the eastern most bay bridge (331 I think). Understand I turn back west to get to Topsail. Is there good signage or do I need some instructions?
Thanks

Greg, you are correct. US 331 is the east bridge accross the bay. You do turn back to the west (right) on US 98. You will go about 4 miles to County Road 30-A where you will turn left (south); Tops'l is one half mile on the right. You will come to a day-use entrance first; that is NOT it. The second entrance is the RV park.
As you come west on US 98 from US 331 there is not good sinage. After you turn onto 98, You will go through a traffic signal at CR-393. The very next traffic light is CR 30-A. As you approach 30-A, you will see a car wash and then a Chevron station on your left. The Chevron station is on the corner of 30-A. 30-A only goes south from US 98.

i never leave home without my garman. GREAT investment, if you don't have one already, and they have dropped significantly in price as well.

Thanks for the tip about the Chevron and the Subway. We'll be coming in around 1:00 am and I don't want to miss the last few turns. I have mapquested and think I have the same directions moosetags sent me so I think we have the most direct route from Atlanta. We'll be out of pocket next week so I'll say now we are so excited about getting to attend our first forum rally where we'll be staying with our Airstream and not just visiting for the day without one.

Thank you
Appreciate the directions Moosetags. I too travel with a GPS but every once in a while, the little lady inside that box takes a bathroom break and misses a turn or street name!

Still trying to get the trailer finished, I think I have about another 20-25 hours to at least get on the road, so it will be 90% finished, but then again is it ever finished.
So Cathy and I are still planning on making this maiden voyage leaving on the 1st.

Fill in the blanks
Can someone post the latest list for the pot luck? That way maybe we can fill in the blanks. Its a toss up between Sloppy Joe and Chicken Au Gratin. Hot Wrapped Pound Cake is on for dessert.

That's great, we decided a long time ago if we waited till the trailer was done we would never get to use it.
