We are wearing fullsuit and booties if you want to stay a bit warmer. The water temps are running around 60 degrees right now.Give or take a couple but since this front came through it will probably go down to 59,58 degrees.Pretty cold stuff for us Florida natives. It only last a good 2 months though before it starts to warm up again.
Our condolences to your family A-Merry-Can.

Phill and Sue, glad you will make it, It will be great to have two vintage TWs side by side.

BTW A-Merry-Can, the logo for the Spring GA rally is cool. Hmmm, 7 segment roof end sections. Was your TW, Shotgun, your model? Or was it Stinky, the GT.

Question

Need a bit of input from the local folks.

Is there anyplace nearby to pickup a 30G propane tank?

If so about what do they sell for there, they want 66 + 20 to fill here.

I really don't need any propane on the way down also without it I can go thru the tunnel in Baltimore.

Whopped up a batch of Jim Clark's Jambalaya and Wheweee!! We are in for a treat!! Even the grand kids enjoyed it and they pretty much live on a diet of cheeseburgers and Gatoraide.

Thanks, Kathy. If I remember, I will bring another folding table along too.

I am SO disappointed that there were no comments on my food selections...maybe I'll bring them after all .

I just found out that I have Friday off too, so I have to see whether we can add another day on the front end of our stay. They just posted the schedule this afternoon, but to get Fri off, I am working Mon 1/1 starting at 8 am. Should be an interesting day since we will be partying like it's 1999. Lobster and shrimps for most everyone else, and orange ruffy for me.

One thing is for sure about the weather - It will change. Gulf Coast weather this time of year is so unpredictable - and the rain rarely lasts all day. Hey - this will be a good oppertunity to use the stuff we got for fun in the trailer when it's nasty outside.

Hummmm, spicy food and closed up in a trailer - never thought of that before........

Weather

It should change when the days get closer. In our area when it rains it pours.Normally the rain always goes inland and the beaches are usually dry so that is what I am hoping for if it does rain.
As for temps though it seems like it will be hitting around the upper 60's to 70's.So that is one good thing we all can look forward to.

By STUFF - I ment we have received some card games and a Wheel of Fortune game for the camper - the last time we were rained in we had just bought the CCD and had nothing to occupy our time - no books, magizines or games. Christmas took care of that. We didn't even have a cassette for the cassette player - that will be changed out with a CD player this weekend I hope.

I was talking about the spicy food and closed up in an air tight Airstream
Could be dangerous or maybe deadly

1. Can SilverPickle still get stuff to people, or bring to the rally?

2. Do you have enough "coffee-power" for Sunday morn, or do you want more coffee makers? I do have a large one that I will try to locate. We will bring pumpkin bread and cream cheese to add to breakfast.

3. For the potluck, Sue and I (really Sue) will be bringing Greek stuffed mushrooms (spinach, cheese & onion stuffing).

4. Do you want to start any "white elephant" raffle prizes for after the "official drawings"? I think it might be fun to have another half-dozen or so surprises (surprizes in this case?). And maybe they could be traveling prizes that would be given away in the spring (or whenever) too. Just a thought.

See you Saturday.

We will need to get on the road fairly soon Sunday AM, like by 8:30 AM, so how "early" are we planning for breakfast?
