We are PUMPED
Put in my Christmas present - a Pioneer AM/FM/CD/MP3 stereo - today and saved the Sony AM/FM/Cassette(?) for the future - I have no idea why. That solved and the new 15" LCD flat panel for Tina's Christmas present and we are ready to go. Tires and lugs this week.

Clancy Boy, I suspected that my hint about possible instant grits might bring out some genuwine-stone-ground-grits--thanks so much! I really do think we might pass some mills as we head south, some in Missouri if open.-though we now are starting out New Years Day and noone anywhere will be open. I'm going to check with one grocery in this area that often has flours and grits from Hodgeson Mill here in Missouri. If I don't find what I need, I'll pm you for your offer Thanks again. ~G

Today Max added a day on our reservation on the front end of the rally, coming in on Wednesday. Yahoooooooooooooooooooooo! ~G (He's funny that way. As a trip gets closer, he nudges up the time to head out day by day. I'm the opposite: I love anticipating and provisioning for a trip, but when it's time at the end to leave to come home, I want to stretch out our time away--by then, he's champing at the bit to get home. Sigh. . .he usually gets his way, but I seldom get mine!

Does anyone have the round SS sink in their newer AS that came with the Corian (I believe) cutting board insert. My 2003 does not have the cutting board and they are available from the dealer but I think I can cut one to fit myself from stock Corian for much less. Just want to look at it and maybe make a cardboard template.
Thanks, Mike

The Lacy clan here are busting out of the seams. I woke up at 5 this morning and started running last minute errands we leave Sunday. What was going to be a long weekend has now turned in to a week long vacation.

Dennis and Ellen, I'm so sorry to hear you won't be there. We were looking forward to meeting some Treasure Coast Floridians. I hope nothing serious or life threatening has come up. We hope to see you at another rally.

Good to have you katzclaw, so we'll have a bit of 60's vintage all in row there. Cool. No matter what shape your coach is in, there's nothing like a good rally to inspire you. And you are going to have fun, I promise!

katzclaw, welcome to everything. We'll show you ours if you show us yours. Trailer, that is. Our '61 Tradewind will be in site 142 Saturday and Sunday...don't you laugh either...
Speaking of inspiration, after the 2006 fall leaf thing in Hiawasse (rally in North Georgia; again in spring of 07), Sue and I talked about what we wanted/needed to accomodate 4 adults and 2 dogs. We found a '73 31' for sale and bought it within 2 weeks: couldn't pass up the opportunity for a project at that cost. The '73 is not ready for travel yet, so we will be in the '61 this trip, with a For Sale sign. So be careful what you wish for!
And enjoy.

And pumpkin bread with cream cheese at breakfast, and a large coffee pot.
Potluck I think is planned for about 6:00pm (dark, but late enough so everyone can make it). Raffle drawings that evening during/after dinner. Photo-shooting throughout (to be shared on-line later and prizes awarded?).
