I just can't wait, to meet everyone and put faces with names. Yes plenty of wine, cold beer, and lots of food.

Hey all
I have just got on the forum and wow. This is getting to become one big rally. We are in Hatttiesburg,MS right now and are just checking things out.
I am glad to see the Kposey,2Air and Rebel Beck are going to be able to make it.This is turning out way better than expected for sure now.I do have the cutter as you all know.I can pretty much do a lot of things with it.I will be bringing it with me to the rally also.I take it with me everywhere I go cause you never know.I think the name badges are a great idea also.
So far we have the pot luck for saturday night.
And an open house during the day.
Oh yea...and also the swimming meet for you heated pool fanatics.
And prizes would probably be in order also. What should we do for a couple contests.
Favorite Airstream.
Most laziest
Coolest theme.
Farthest traveled.
I am just throwing some Ideas out there and I know you all have more ...
When I can I will check the forum out later but we are headed back to boofoo here shortly.Talk to ya later

I'm ready to tow it, I took delivery of a 2500 GMC with the 8.1 today.
I think this thing can pull two Airstreams
Only problem is the trailer needs to be finished in time

Kathy, I'm so glad ya'll are coming on down. It wouldn't be the same without you. And now rebel beck and family. Yes, it will be good to put faces and names together. This is great! I'm amazed at how much this group has grown.
Bob, congratulations on your new GMC. I have TV envy.

To big for just "Florida get-together"
Devoman,
You're plan for a Florida get-together has gotten so big at this point it needs a title worthy of the occasion, and First Annual should be attached, don't you think?

Our trailer is not perfect but if we wait for it to be perfect I might be to old to travel I hope to start the polish work finally next week orrrrrrrrr maybe I'll wait till we get back from the rally. I had to laugh when I got the conformation and it states no alcohol. Sure hope all us wine o's don't get locked up.

Alcohol at the "rally"
The Tops'l rules state "Consumption of alocholic beverages is prohibited except during park sanctioned events and within designated areas only. (Camp sites are designated)"
It appears that we are OK for at least beer and wine. An open bar will be tolerated as long as we keep it on someone's camp site. Of course, we are OK as long as the on-duty Ranger is invited to the party.
As long as we are not too obnoxious, we may even be allowed to come back.

ok 'beck, maverick9, jimC' and kposey....
did someone mention juice of the grape?
truth beee, klattu you nailed my spot exactly...
that IS where my current reservation is honest!
the park bosses may move me when they see the unit and my family; picture attached...
we are allowed 8 relatives per site, right?
yes this rally needs a better name so how about a prerally contest NOW to...
name the rally...
devoman can be judge and jury and bribe taker...
and the winner will get the joy of seeing the thread renamed and perhaps some grand forum goodies....
for contests AT the rally how about...
'best food dish that tastes like gator meat'
or a
'sand sculpture contest, on d' beach'
i'll have more ideas after a'nother glass of grape juice...
IN VINO VERITAS...as they say

good thinkin' moosetags...
also the sob in site 163 must be invited to the meals and movies and naked twister contest!
i've even got a special bottle of 'sob' wine for 'em...
with any luck once we've juiced them up,
lipets (in the new truck) can quickly move them to another site...
did someone say behave?
hardly

How about "The First Annual Dead-O-Winter Florida Non-Rally Rally". Nah, too long, won't fit on the party napkins.
