Need info on WBCCI number on AS

Hi,

I just recently purchased a 1971 29' Ambassador Airstream.
The numbers on the trailer are 20965.
The trailer has been parked at a trailer site for over 10 yrs, so was wondering if someone had some history on this trailer.

In 1978 20965 was assigned to Don and Madeline Holliday from Sault Ste Marie, MI No other data was published.

Just to add a little to what dwightdi has already posted.The Holliday's last appear in my 1988 directory.There were two caravans listed for them.

Caravan #77 - Mexico -Winter 1971
Caravan #85 - Yucatan-Winter 1972

Newbie here, I have #3864 on a 1968 Tradewind. A faded name by the door says " Gung Ho II" with a pic of a bucking bronco. Who dat?

Chances are it belonged to these folks at some point

They show payment through the Wyoming Unit which would explain the bucking bronco part of your post.

I don't have much info on this one.The number was first issued in 1968 and appears in my 1968 and 1970 directories.

I list this number in my first directory (1968) all the way up to my 1988 directory to

Number 1992 first appears in the 1958 Directory issued to:
Raymond & Iva Gruber
Marion, OH
They went on the 1959 Mexican Caravan
They were still listed in the 1966 Directory, but not in the 1973 Directory

I do not have a complete set of WBCCI directories so I cannot tell you the year they joined.I can tell you they were members from 1982-1994.They do not appear in my 1996 directory.
