Seller forgot to give key for exterior little doors

The 2012 Interstate just arrived. Unfortunately the small key used to unlock the small doors is missing. The seller can't find it. Plus he's across the country. I think its to fill propane and maybe generator. What can I do?

Well... Here are a couple suggestions...
1. Call Airstream Customer Support in Jackson Center and ask for replacement key or key info..
2. If cabinet locks have numbers on them, those can be used to make new keys by locksmith
3. Airstream used to specify key blanks and have places to write key code numbers in their Owner Manual Binders..
4. Worst case, a locksmith can open and make new key for the lock..

There should be a number on the key cylinder.
Any locksmith shop or trailer shop can get you the keys with that number.
The number will be something like GH005 or RH108 or R3223 or some such as that.

Those small doors on the driver side are for the tank dump systems. The larger lower door is where the macerator hose reel is stowed. The smaller upper door is where the black/gray water tank valves and macerator controls are located.

As others have mentioned any good lock shop should be able to get you a key.

All RVs use the same key for those small doors. My Neigbor had a box full of them that I can have as spares. Try going to an RV shop. They might have a box full of them as well.

I had a problem like this once. I pulled into a locksmith parking lot. The guy came out with a key blank and a file. Five minutes later he hands me a key and I hand him $10, and I'm headed down the road. Easy-peasy.
