Looks nice! Be careful when backing up to a curb as the propane connection hangs down behind the curbside rear wheel and is very low. Easy to scrape off.

Amen to that! The hinged plastic cover on mine is in dire need of replacement because of exactly that— or at least the half that hasn't broken off needs to be replaced. I count myself fortunate in the extreme that only the cover was damaged, and not the fill port or bleeder valve.

I have considered mounting some old-fashioned curb feelers behind the fill port to serve as an audible reminder when I've reached the limit of how far I can back in, but never did it because I was sure I'd never need them. It may be time to revisit that idea…

Purchased the e-Book. Not a technical one, but good enough for the RV beginner.

When I had ny early model interstate I put rear air lift shocks. One of the advantages was I could remotely raise the rear when backing to a curb to avoid scraping the pipe ,etc.

Gentlemen, I'm reading the book mentioned above, and am confused with the furnace. As I know from fellow forum member here, the heater furnace under the galley is working on gas only, and I've checked it well today. However, the book author says that it also works from the engine when it is running. Can you please tell me if it is true? Does the furnace work without LPG but from the engine when it's running, or the book author messed up? Look to the page of the book I am attaching.

It reads " this is a separate heat source from the engine to be used to keep the interior warm while camping"

The furnace only works off propane, however most people use a small space heater when camping with a hook up..

On our last trip I set the furnace temp at 60, we were in a hotel room and the outside temps went into the teens and I had no way of plugging in, over 9 hours and it hardly used a gallon of propane..

Thank you Migman, for English grammar explanation, my native language is Russian that's why I simply did not properly understand what the book author means. )))). Now I got it - he means that while driving we all use our regular car heating...

And it's really news for me that for 9 hours of furnace heating you used only a gallon of propane, I've never imagined such a good LPG fuel economy. Mhhh... Very good!

You are welcome my friend..

Yes it was a nice to use the coach through our winter trip.. I was a bit concerned about things freezing..

I bypassed the water heater and put anti freeze in it just in case there was some water left.. I used anti freeze in the holding tanks.. Used the furnace if I couldn't plug in and used the space heater if could to keep the coach above freezing..

The only thing I couldn't keep warm was the fresh water tank unless I could plug in then I could use the tank heaters..

Overall it was a good experience the coach spent several nights in the low teens and nothing froze up..

Happy travels in your new coach, they are a blast to have and tour around in..

Excellent! You did great. You said were heating holding tanks with tank heating pads only from shorepower, but you could use them from gen, why didn't you? Or from 12V house batteries while driving.

We stayed in a few hotels and I didn't have access to shore power and the generator would have been too loud to run at night..

The heating pads will drain the coach batteries in about 4 hours.

Nice )))
Mine doesn't fit in my garage, so I don't know how to protect it from heavy sun in summer... No carport allowed in the subdivision so I guess just leave it as is (((

Today I played with maseration pump, draining of grey and black tanks, and filling fresh water tank. All looks fine, except I wasn't able to "rinse" the black tank how they specified in the instructions, and I think I did something wrong.

In order to fill the black tank with fresh water for its subsequent drain, I put a fresh water hose to the inlet on the left of the pumpout reel (as on the attached picture). The black tank valve was opened, and fresh water under my garden hose pressure started to leak from under the van. When I closed black tank valve and opened the grey tank valve, water started to leak from behind of the vent (which is in the very middle of second picture).

I detached the garden hose then, and did not play with it anymore :-(

What's wrong I did ?

Thank you guys for your advices!
:-)
