I'm glad that someone else can see the hippo in the picture. For a minute or three I thought I was going to have to stop taking the pills and take another look and be disappointed.

Yep, Zep, no lack of the wonder stuff in stock at the moment. It makes for interesting trips, and I don't even have to hook up the trailer and leave home . I can just slip out there with a hot mug of tea, turn on the radio, read a book, have several snoozes, and then Donna comes looking for me...oops, "oh, yeah, right, sorry, I was going to bring that stuff in right away and got a bit distracted...."

Wink For what it's worth, I saw the hippo too

It's Thursday and I like my Airstream because it's repolishing job is 75% complete now. And, of course, since I've been working so hard on polishing the last couple of weeks, IT"S RAINING!!!! Actually a blessing since we are having such a historic horrible drought in the Tennessee Valley.

But even better, the inside is clean, packed, and ready to head for Fort Mountain State Park in Georgia today. Hoping for a little fall color and a gorgeous weekend.

Just started the pre-flight checklist, all systems are go. Lift off tomorrow morning for another fun filled weekend of camping. Destination is Woods Canyon Lake in the Arizona Rim country. We will be gathering with my fly fishing club friends...

...it looks great just sitting there. We had planned a week long 'streaming trip down into rural Virginia to visit my dad and hit the Harper's Ferry Halloween celebration again - but it is kindergarten interview season and we just couldn't make it.

If someone wants it there is a newly available site in WV - a weekend of ghosties, goblins, and graham cracker smores awaits!

I love my Airstream because it's just been one week where we all went to the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta together...'streaming'...down the highway....and can't wait to do it again to Kernville, CA in just a couple of weeks!

Getting ready can't be more FUN !

We love ours because after a scare earlier in the week with work (SCHEDULE CHANGES) it now looks like we will make it to the rally in GA next week before I go to the Persian Gulf in November. We cannot wait - I spent a few minutes in there today looking around - she's packed except for food and some clothes.

We are sooooooo ready.

WeAtHeR or not it's thursday...

evening all

good vibes 4u while looking ri'...

the trailer might just find YOU on a thursday soon...

ok folks you've REALLY messed me up this week...

seems like everyday was thursday.

i use this thread to set my internal clock and 'lectric tooth brush and both have been way off....

and it's ALL your fault zep, you hijacker.

and i'm sending you the dental bill.

it's thursday and i like my airstream because...

she just completed a 5,005 mile circuitous loop started about 5 weeks ago i think...

including 2 fantastic rallies (beverly beach and the hillbilly hoedown) and many wonderful interim stops...

including 3 days with a dead truck in idaho (not a thursday) and a small trailer fire in missouri (more on this when the fumes clear)

what follows is a visual glance of just what she 'weathered' on this trip...

cheers
2air'

It's Thursday, and I like my airstream because I received in the mail today 4 tubes of sealant that I'll use tomorrow and hopefully the safari won't leak after the sealant works and there won't be any more leaks when we go to our rally in a couple of weeks..I hope..

really i lost count of the passes but the continental divide came and went...

at least 5 times....

surely i'd miss any snow, it was after all mid september....

but there are white patches in yonder hills...
