Its Thursday and I like my Airstream because, after we bought it while talkin to the guy we bought it from we found out that Debbie and I both knew his wife who had passed on after a long battle with cancer. Linda was a very sweet and loving person we had both worked with her for a few years and saw her go through that battle. While cleaning out the trailer I found a single seashell earring, I honostly don't know if it was hers but in my heart it is, so I pushed it into a seam in the wood and now we always take Linda with us wherever we go.

It's Thursday and I like my Airstream 'cause
It has been my best friend for 6 years. It has taken it's turn providing me with a home and with glorious trips. It has given me physical and emotional comfort when I got it from no one or nothing else.
My phrase for the feeling I get when I step inside is "Excited Contentment".
Thank you all for the support you give to everyone searching for information and more!
Can anyone out there come up with a smiley that expresses "Excited Contentment?
Thanks

Because she's sitting right outside my office window ready for me to hook her up and head out on the road in just two days! A new "Streamin" season!

I love mine - and I don't even have it yet !
I just "bought" a 1992 34'. But it's in MI and I'm in VA and I haven't bought a tow vehicle yet.
My son calls a CLASSIC "cart before the horse".
So, except for how wonderfully clean it is, I can't tell you what it is about it that I love - YET !
I hope within a couple of weeks I'll have started a list.
Tom
PS - Anybody know if any of the truck rental places have anything that will tow my new home?

You better get on the road 'cause you are not getting any work done looking out your window at the Airstream...

Abe,
You're correct, of course, so I've turned off the office lights and started loading her. NASCAR stuff first!

It's Thursday and I like my "Argosy" beause the "Twink" is home from the RV doctor with his brand new Intelipower and 12V fuse panel. How proud we are. Just to know he's sitting out there beside the house makes me feel complete. I don't think I will ever tire of looking at him and thinking of all the fun times we've had and will have in the future. Besides tomorrow is Friday and they say it might actually RAIN IN OKLAHOMA!!!!!!!

Stars........
I like living in my airstream because I can look out the window and see real stars. Stars you miss when you live in well lighted towns and cities. I like leaving a sandwich on the table and waking up to see two squirrels eating PB&J. I like hearing Canadian geese and mourning doves when I wake up. I like sleeping under a gently curved aluminum dome...
I like the idea of getting a new 28 footer, because after a year I'm ready to give up living in a square house, with flat walls forever. I'm putting Tin Lizzie up on the for sale section, so that someone else can enjoy her.
Tin Lizzie.... Shall I call the new one, "Silver Suppository II" ?????

hi jamesardis and others in from the 'it's thursday aluminum admiration society'.......international
wow great reasons and reasoners........
nice pic.....
i thought that was a big ol' sunflower.....
but a sun works too...
with amber waves of rays....
me thinks, they are related....
the sun and sunflowers....
and weeds that we need....
how does that handle at speed?
imagine if solar panels looked as cool as that........
we'd all be flower powered.....
imagine that.....
cheers
2air'
and you might wanna check out the picture of the month post....i see a qualifier....

thanx for the poetry 2air! yes, your right,I also go back and forth thinking sun or sunflower--ever see a field of sunflowers turn their many heads from east to west each day following the suns path--tis a wonderous sight! "Amber waves of rays"--thankyou for that 2air!---jim

It's my escape!
My family and I can take off and within 45 minutes be in the mountains or in the desert, away from the phones, work, school, the hustle and bustle of it all, just go relax and enjoy God's earth. IMHO nothing beats laying in the Airstream at night listening to the sound of a creek in the distance as I fall asleep.

It's Thursday and WE like our Airstream because there is only one more week to go and we can pull our Airstream out of storage. "ARROOO!", As the Spinoni Sisters would say.... then the fun begins!
