Has anyone Ever?....Red numbers
Just put numbers on top of their airstream because they mean someting to them? I want to put RED six inch number on my stream because I think it looks awesome.
Probably wont, but I was just wondering. It's not like I could get a ticket or fined or anything, It's my trailer, Right?

The red numbers are the greatest anti theft device today, very easy to spot from the air.The highway patrol can spot them for miles,if you ever lost your silver spoon.

GREAT IDEA!!!
Maybe we all should do it.
That would certainly confuse the hell out of a certain group of IBC'ers.

That would cause many more letters from the clubs attorneys.
Cost a lot more money?? Oh yeah.
Of course, they first would have to know who you are, etc, etc.

We could also use for example, 7.5 or whatever that has a decimal point in it.
Or a "/" mark.
Last 2 numbers of your b-day year and your wifes.
I.E. 32/46
Now, no one could beef about that, not even the IBT, even if they were in red.

Just pondering the idea. I want a certain number and I believe it's taken.
So what a copyright infringement?
I think not.
It's my Airstream and I'll mark it like I want too... Mark it like I want to....
<Sung to the song "Cry if I want too, Cry if I want too"....LOL.

THEPILL - Your AIR # is 43037. PM Devoman and he'll set you up with blue numbers to match. I've never heard of the Air Force striking anyone for blue numbers...

Shane,
also a while back i seen on a post that someone had the numbers put on a really large magnet that they would not have to put the stickers on their camper. I think that was a cool idea....and thought about doing that to mine this year with my numbers but........???? on the rejoining membership.

Your trailer. Your numbers. Your right.
I'd be tempted to figure out what the IPs numbers are and place those on my rig. Not hard to figure, just not worth the effort to me.

You could apply red letters instead. It would open a whole realm of possibilities.

Don't get how this could possibly be illegal. The most the WBCCI could do would be send you a polite letter and hope you comply. They certainly couldn't threaten you with any kind of copyright or trade dress infringement. Its a set of numbers, not someone's (who shall not be named) name.
It would be like if I wanted to copyright the price of a grapefruit.
If they were protected, wouldn't you need to remove them before transferring the trailer to some other party?
Go ahead and do it. Pick a good number.
